If we’re talking specifically about goalkeepers then I don’t agree, a competent keeper can come in and make a huge difference straight away and the higher the quality the better. With outfield players there is some merit to what you say. Exactly as Mark Crossley proved when he came in and made a huge difference to our fortunes. Although not the same difference Crossley made even the switch from Simmo to Carlo Nash in the promotion season made us better.

1.75 cm only 20 years old,is he really what we need? Don't we need someone with a bit more physicality?

Attachment DeletedOnly thing I can think of is that AN wants to play 4231 or 433 with Gelhardt on the left or right. Certainly isn't the type to lead the line is he based on the above?

What the fuck are we dragging our feet for, unless we are seriously confident of getting our first choice. However by which point we could be another home defeat further in to the season after saturday. Because we have absolutely no money to spend

It appears we're the only team who is willing to let a keeper go, without a replacement lined up.

Can you trust whoscored.com? This is Jacob Browns: StrengthsHeaded attempts Strong Defensive contribution Strong Weaknesses(Player has no significant weaknesses) Jacob Brown's Style of PlayLikes to cut inside Likes to play short passes Gets fouled often Likes to tackle

Football Insider are hit and miss. Doesn't seem to fit the mould, despite clearly being an exciting talent that half the division are mentioned with.
Neil normally likes a big lad up there, and we currently lack any physicality to complement what we have

People can't grasp that concept unfortunately... Bursik sold & Delap recalled, there's money there. We haven't signed anyone we might get one loan in ( a keeper) unless more players leave we won't get more than that imho

Looks like quite a tidy player from what little i've seen of him, good with his feet, runs at the defence, decent shot on him, similar age but a bit closer to the finished article than Delap

We can't finish the season with Gayle, Brown & Campbell as our only striker options.

Blackpool, Hull & Hudds all doing some shrewd looking business there, whilst Wigan & Rotherham have managed to bring players in albeit not sure about the quality of them.

Blackpool also made some good signings too. As it stands, I have us as favourites to drop.

Didn’t realise Blackpool signed Josh Bowler & Morgan Rogers from City on loan. 2 good signings especially Bowler, could have done with a player like that who can take on defenders

Very worrying.
