Only at Stoke It's not only at Stoke, loads of teams get in these downward spirals. Leeds and Sunderland not so long ago, Sheff Wednesday, Ipswich and many more. If we get out of it without going into league one we will have done well. Things change very quickly in football. Ten years from now today's golden boys Brentford and Brighton will probably be back in the lower leagues. A few bad decisions and it can go tits up very quickly. It goes wrong for everyone apart from the elite five or six teams eventually and even they have relatively baron patches. |

All goes in circles, then eventually once it becomes the norm and the fans demand more, it goes tits up. |

He’s had a season ticket 6 years, so pretty much all shit bar the odd good day. I may be wrong, but I think the summer window will bring a totally new outlook. Obviously we look in genuine danger of going down, I think we survive by a 6 points, then push on next season. |
