What a fucking shambles. Souttar, Flint, Clarke, Delap, Fosu, Kilkenny, DWP, Bursik all leave Tuanzebe, Hoever, Celina and Sarkic in all on loan Great window if you ask me - even HS leaving has lifted the possibility of us having a points deduction for FFP next season, none of those leaving have made the team weaker. Gouranga. 🎣🎣🎣

Yeah look on the bright side at least we haven't given any charity contracts away ---. Correct. And we got a decent goalkeeper and a decent midfielder/winger in a few days back. Good it wasn't at the very last minute those deals were done. It would be nice to meet Leicester in the FA Cup final. 🤠

This board, despite their wealth (all down to Denise) are demonstrating they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, so why would we expect they'll sort out the glaring massive holes in our squad. Fingers crossed we can survive this season, in readiness for going through exactly the same shit next season, as we have done for the last six seasons. For Stoke's sake, please get John Coates out of the top seat, before he destroys us totally.

I'm all for not buying any old shite and keeping our powder dry until the summer but I'm really worried about the CB situation.
The only explanation can be that Taylor's injury is much more minor than first thought.

What a fucking shambles. Souttar, Flint, Clarke, Delap, Fosu, Kilkenny, DWP, Bursik all leave Tuanzebe, Hoever, Celina and Sarkic in all on loan Let's face it Sarkic was a 'bottom of the pile' signing after we expressed interest in Iverson then Bentley and only getting Sarkic because Wolves signed Bentley We are truly at the bottom of the food chain Iversen is no 2 at Leicester (premier league) and getting game time, Bentley signed for Wolves (premier league) and we managed to get a keeper who was named player of the season at his last loan club even though he only played half a season. Some of you fucking mard arse knicker wetters need to get real, we are in the lower half of the championship without being able to spend any money - because previous managers have spunked it all up the wall on what can only be described as a bucket of cow shit. Bad fucking window my arse, have a look back at some of the shit we signed in previous windows - some supporters were wanking themselves stupid over the likes of Woods Ince and Afobe Gouranga.

It would be very nice if someone in the set up , other than AN who has clearly been hung out to dry , stood up and talked us through the thinking behind all this. It would also be a minor miracle.

Tuanzebe has been around for what feels like decades and has played about 38 minutes of football in that time.

It’s shit having to sell Souttar but the alternative might’ve been an unhappy player and no money incoming. Celina looks good, the keeper can’t be worse that Joe/Jack and if Tuanzebe is fit then he might be all we need. Chuck Pearson and Hoever in then it could be fine. Probably too early for wrist slashing.

FFP must be closer than the club’s letting on. No permanent deals. Cheap loans. This - we needed to sell for FFP, no matter what Neil says, and could not use enough of the Soutttar money to tempt decent players to join us or persuade their clubns to let them go on deadline day. The whole financial model of the club over the past 6 or 7 years has been a shambles, yet has not been changed. We continue to bleed money, stopping us challenging for players that will turn us around. Relying on freebies and loans, whilst selling your best players, usually does not end very well.

Im hoping for an aaron rodgers hail mary. GO PACK GO![/quote] Obviously Aaron from last season, not the uninterested, money grabbing, egocentric QB from this year…. Although the packs GM would do well at Stoke, sign AR up for the largest deal in history and then have nobody to throw to.

Or we have acquired a sizeable transfer fund for the summer when FFP restrictions will not have such a profound effect on us. It’s either worrying or a master stroke. Time will tell.

Looking at our squad, it looks like we potentially have:
Goalkeepers: Sarkic, Bonham, Fielding
Right back: Sterling, Hoever, Wilmot
Right wing back: Sterling, Hoever, Brown
Centre back: Fox, Jagielka, Wilmot, Taylor, Tuanzebe
Left back: Fox, Tymon
Left wing back: Tymon, any number of random square peg from elsewhere in the squad
Centre midfield: Baker, Laurent, Thompson, Smallbone, Powell, Celina, Clucas, Pearson(?)
Right wing: Celina, Brown, Campbell
Left wing: Celina, Tymon, Campbell
Strikers: Gayle, Brown, Campbell, Powell, Tezgel
I'm convinced that the squad looks better in a 4-3-3 system and that Neil has deliberately moved us in that direction during this window.

Surely to goodness then now the window is closed someone can just have a bit of honest dialogue with supporters and give the true picture.

I suppose you think Stoke share all their transfer plans on The Oatcake or elsewhere, nothing is kept behind closed doors? Deals fall through, it happens. Souttar maybe wanted out. Such is life.
