We go to Hull for instance, win 3-0 and play really well and then lose the two wing-backs for the next game. We go back to the drawing board and try to find another solution. Wish he'd realise our top goalscorer of the last 18 months isn't a wing back. Of course he doesn't think that He was playing him there because of injuries

Just a weird way to phrase it that another RWB is injured when he's actually out most clinical attacker of the past 2 seasons.

Duhaney deffo isn't that's why he's gone to a nothing team Wilmot was playing in the back 3, he can't play in two positions at once At Reading Fosu played LWB and Brown the other Again Fosu can't play in two positions at once At Hull he did choose Brown over Foysu Seeing as we won comfortably with a clean sheet can't complain

Why not do a back 4? Why not play Fox at LB/LWB then you don't need to worry about Fosu playing in 2 positions. But anyhow this isn't about who should have played where in those games. I'm simply highlighting that Brown isn't a wing back so find it a bit surprising for the manager to reference his injury as another wing back injury.

As AN has pointed out the squad, fashioned not by him, was set up to play with wingbacks Factor in the injuries and now 6high frequency of matches we are going to get lots of changes in lines ups with players playing 'out of position' He could have played a back four but that would mean a different player, Wilm3, playing out of position at RB The return of Clarke and Sterling will make things easier but until we have Tymon back as well we are going to to get odd looking line ups

I think we will score 3 or 4 tomorrow. Watford are an awful team and will struggle this season.
They won't be able to do it on a cold, windy day at the 'Tampax you need wings stadium' or whatever we call it these days

The draw at 9/4 has a ring to it. A win at 8/5 would make the bet come alive. Away win at 17/10 would be leaden!

Really warming to AN. Speaks a lot of common sense and has a mischievous sense of humour that can turn into a serious point to put others on the back foot in a flash. Reminds me a bit of Fergie. If he has a tenth of his success il’ll be happy. So 1 Premier League title? You're so easily pleased

11.00 is going to be a bit traumatic I expect if it’s no Thomson , baker , Powell , Tymon or brown sterling ? Kilkenny ? it’s a real damage limitation exercise over the next three games

Hope I’m wrong but this has got 0-0 written all over it. Having said that it’ll probably be 4-1 either way!

Stronger lineup than I thought given our injury situation. I'd dare say it's our strongest starting XI and squad under AN so far.
Feeling a bit more confident now having seen the lineup.
Let's hope Delap and/or Gayle get their duck off their back today.
