May be in a minority but I don't want Dyche here

He’s the obvious choice but knowing stoke they’ll leave it to long and he’ll be at the first club to pull the trigger.

I reckon it's unlikely he'd come to Stoke To be fair he made his name at a Stoke mirror-image club like Burnley. They and him lack the glamour to satisfy The Peoples’ Club of Everton. Those people fancy something fancier in my experience.

How in the real world does anyone think under current profit and sustainability rules Stoke could even entertain the thought of approaching Sean Dyche? I doubt if we can even afford to sack MON which would involve paying up his contract and then getting someone else in on less wages. If we can only afford free transfers and loan players we cannot afford Sean Dyche or anyone similar.

If he's that good of a manager, why is he still without a club?

If we can only afford free transfers and loan players we cannot afford Sean Dyche or anyone similar. We’re the richest club outside of the premiership. There’s ways and means and even if we get points deducted are we really going to be any worse than if MON stays?

He is definitely not my cup of tea but hes the best (only) viable option since we sat on our hands and let some great options go to other clubs in summer. He will be in the running for all the upcoming PL jobs (for the bottom 6 clubs in October/Nov) and can wait it out. No way would he come to Stoke.
Edit - Man U job odds on favorite?

Leadership, leadership, leadership.
They are the three things a manager needs.
O’Neill offers very little, Dyche offers it in bucket loads.

His type of football would put a glass eye to sleep. Quite possibly but we are on a fight to stay in the league so it's a price we might have to pay until Powell and souttar return
