I still think the manager isn't up to it.
my main concerns about this team are the same from last season:
1. Too passive and disjointed in midfield, not enough physicality, not enough pressure on the ball.
2. Playing a slow square back 3 who don't compensate enough by coming out with the ball and pushing play up the pitch.
3. Only one line of attack, Tymon.
Today doesn't address any of those issues and we've won plenty of games in this way under O'Neill. But is it better than last week? Obviously, last week was atrocious.
There's no point saying things are all rosy until he can sustain a run of results

It’s a a message board…if you don’t like Bayern block him.. for what it’s worth I like Bayern and his posts! Don’t always agree with him but he does hit on the truth more often than not imo, and doesn’t resort to name calling

Can we just talk some sensible football without the polarised nonessential and judgemental view point of fooking Bayern for a change!!???🙏🏻🙏🏻😆 There is a reason he’s constantly chirping in! Insecurely fuck whit who needs validation…the other alternative to that is that we could actually start supporting some young hungry stoke grown players and a team team that might do something !!?!?!! Bayern posts about football and doesn’t come on here to vent his bile against other fans. Try it you might like it.

I’m just replying to the usual bs. You literally mentioned me 😂😂😂 No I didn’t How much you chirped out of actual support to our brand new young team this eve….. You and a few other are attention seeking non supporters. Some sort of weird very sorry narcissists that feel some empowerment from Internet forum posting 😢. I wish you well. You created this whole thread in the hope the Bayern would reply. And when he did you were all over him like a rash. You're like the sad little schoolboy who is mean to the girl because he fancies her

One win changes nothing Blackpool were poor bigger & better tests to come. He still needs to go. It wasn’t really the bigger and better tests we failed last season it was exactly those Blackpool shaped tests. We’re 3pts ahead in the exact same two games from last season. There are more to find but I’ll see how it goes. Definite improvement on some of our wins last season that I didn’t find enjoyable even with a positive outcome. It’s that simple for me if the home games are a reasonable watch I’m pretty content.

It was ok but not great against a poor side apart from Bowler. MON is very much still a dead man walking as they say in the movies..... A very short time will tell If he was going to sacked he would have gone at the end of last season. He'll only get sacked before Xmas if we are in a relegation battle and he'll only get sacked at the end of this season if we aren't challenging for the playoffs. Blackpool were not a poor side but I agree it's impossible to draw any conclusions about our protein prospects. However play like that and there is no way we are relegation candidates. If he's a dead man walking it's a season long hike.

There's no point saying things are all rosy until he can sustain a run of results I think that's a bit unfair of today's performance 1. I thought the midfield considering it was the first time they'd started again showed signs of gelling well and certainly were more aware of Tymon and movement in front of them than last year's midfield. Physicality was an improvement on last year. I thought Laurent was better physically than Allen just because of his size in comparison and I was impressed by Smallbone's offering physically, much more so than his control, completely the opposite of what I was expecting. 2. Sometimes the passing was a bit ponderous and unnecessary but in general all three looked capable of passing forwards and I thought Wilmot in particular played a couple of beauties forwards particularly the one early in the game. Also Taylor and Wilmot were prepared to venture forward with the ball. Defensively they still need work but none of them struggled for pace and replace Flint with Souttar or the new centre half (?) could be very good together. I am also hoping O'Shea has been brought in to improve us defensively so hopeful we'll improve. Can you imagine Smith ever being in the box from open play to score like Clarke did? 3. Very unfair comment. Clarke (see above), Smallbone and Gayle all threatened and considering Powell wasn't playing we looked much more threatening than last year. Don't know where Powell will play though? Perhaps Brown is most under threat there.

Nope.. I have no care… that is my point!! And I’m very sorry that the team that I support has to be apart of this shit show of a forum that is strangle held by negative bullshit mentality. And btw - in terms of attention seeking… on a forum… you just chirped up out of no where for no reason! 😂 (how you finding your shitty glimmer of limelight 🤦🏻♂️) You have no care? That's why you started a thread you fucking melt 😀 No care of conversing toxic negativity with complete f@ckt@rds…. Ooops!

It’s odd that people saw such listed issues from that game. 1 line of attack from our LWB yet our RWB scored and our midfielders were at times lining up to have a shot from central areas and in/outside the box.

I respectfully disagree based on what I saw yesterday but let's see, we'll only know once we've played a few more games. I thought yesterday Blackpool were as poor a team as we will face this season, but a lot of our failings from last season were still very evident
