It feels like we’re moving in the right direction. Ever watched squidge rugby on YouTube? Had some idea that Borthwick apparently does have a plan I'm too shit at the sport to understand though, he could be talking bollocks.

Well I missed that too but it sounds like Borthwick is making a good point to his doubters? I was definitely worried about him, but he's managed some good results. They'd have won that if they could stop coughing the ball up and had more discipline.

I didn't see the England game but judging from the reports it seems like we played quite well. I'm not a Borthwick fan but we do seem to have made some progress during the last few games, guess we'll see how we develop from here. Well done to Ireland, but it was obvious they'd win the title after the first game win in France. Overall my "team of the tournament" has to be Italy.

I think I've finally seen enough to stick with him if these 2 past test matches are anything to go by. I also think Daly playing instead of Feyi-Waboso against France was a big blow. Maybe if we had a fit Watson to come in instead we might have won?! In any case, the foundations are definitely there for us to be successful in this upcoming World Cup cycle.

I watched the Saracens game yesterday and they were just awesome and today I'm looking forward to England ladies playing and see how they compare to the others who played yesterday I've a feeling they are still streets ahead.

I saw the Sarries-Quins game, they certainly gave them a right tonking straight from the off didn't they. I think England ladies should easily have enough to beat Italy and also win the championship again.

Well a dominant display but crikey some work to do in the collisions although I did think both the red and yellow were very harsh.

I thought the red was extremely harsh and the yellow was possibly 50/50. After a slow start the ladies put in an excellent performance and deservedly won easily.

Mate did you realise during the Saracens game the issue with the TMO ignoring the potential foul play because Austin Healey was heard to pose a question to the TMO?? I heard the incident live but didn't realise he meant Healey I wondered who he meant by Austin instigating it and I was a bit confused. Obviously it's all been explained now and I'll be honest it seems a right mess and a poor explanation for failing to review the knee slide.

Tbh I was in and out of the room a bit at that time and didn't see/hear it live. As you say it's a bit of a mess and I hope it's a one off.

Makes you think "Stockley Park" is actually the VAR refs couch.

Reading about the latest recruits to leave the premiership for France I think the RFU need to seriously rethink the eligibility rules, I understand the thought process but players need to safeguard their future and at the moment France is an attractive place to play on many levels.

What are prices like? I got quoted £5k for 2 of us for 10 days in SA with test tickets included. I promised myself I'd go then obviously COVID rendered it impossible.
Even that cunt Sturgeon ruined going to Scotland for the Lions match for me.

I have family over there in NSW near to Byron Bay about 2hrs from Brisbane so it'll just be a case of flights (prices not available yet) and match tickets there are some available for £110pp in Melbourne but that's not a test match I think the cheapest I've seen is £550 for the Melbourne test. I might just see if I can get a warm up game in while I'm there I'm not sure my missus would be happy with me forking out too much for a game.

I'd love to go but those prices are a bit steep for me I'm sorry to say.

You can't go all that way and not try to get test tickets! The way Australia are playing it could be a whitewash too.

I know mate I was there last year and took in an England women's World Cup game in Brisbane but the ticket was $20 I'm not sure I can justify 1k for 2 tickets but I'll see what I can do 🤞

Some great Champions Cup games this weekend, Harlequins beating Bordeaux, and even Exeter in the wrong end of 60+ points from a very good Toulouse side.
England's ladies stuffed the Scots even with only 14 players as well.

England's ladies stuffed the Scots even with only 14 players as well. Watched a bit of the women's six Nations and there's a massive gulf in ability. Scotland are getting incrementally better though as think they never won a game in 5-6 years before 2023's tournament where they won twice. Only lost 15-5 to France and beat Wales so really progress is probably going to be measured on the next couple of away games v Ireland and Italy - win one of those and probably be seen as a good tournament for us would imagine. Quality is defo improving anyway from what I've seen across the teams but still a big gap between the top teams.

New Zealand 16 England 15. Quite frustrating as I don't think NZ were very good by their standards. England turned the ball over too much at the breakdown and Marcus Smith didn't have a great day with the boot. I think NZ will play a lot better next week so a chance missed.

Forgot all about this game. Good effort but good teams get over the line, that's the difference. Think you're right about them being better prepared next week. Nice to see the game end with 15 a piece too
