He replaced him with TGB He couldn't afford to keep both and took the view that THB was better on the ball, which he is Osti better at actual defending Your memory is a little foggy Lord. Bellis wasn’t very good with us although you could see a player I can’t think of many if any games where he was above anyone else Didn't say he was very good just that that was the thought process replacing a player with a different type of player Bacon burger says it wasn't that anyway, says there was a personality clash, maybe both are true he certainly went for a very different player in THB THB I thought was one of those defenders who generally looked good but far too many gaffes He's cut them out at Burnley then Southampton, he's better than he showed here but hasn't got into the pl Many of MoN loans were deemed failures here but turned out better elsewhere to varying degrees Clarke, Gunn, JPB even Delap and Sima doing better elsewhere Matondo less so Would have Norrington Davies back here

RND don’t know how he’s done but why wouldn’t we want a LB that isn’t at the arse end of their career? Still think we have enough to be OK despite Baldrick’s cunning plans.

He replaced him with TGB He couldn't afford to keep both and took the view that THB was better on the ball, which he is Osti better at actual defending Not how things happened at all he’d been dropped from the team then the matchday squad weeks before he bought THB in on loan. He was effectively replaced in the team by James Chester. It was personal a clash of personalities and not a football decision. Sadly, favouring Chester, was a big part of MON losing the plot. We’d had a great start but injuries and thinking experience(past it Chester) rather than ability could get us out of a little slump saw everything turn to mediocrity.
