He wasn't available for Potter to play him - after Stoke he went on loan to Genoa for the other half season, and you're not allowed to play for three teams in one season. Yes he was but Potter, despite being in dire need of a centre half in January didn't play him. He could have done.and several people thought that was why he had recalled him. After a couple of weeks he went off to Genoa. It would have been unfair to the player to scupper his loan move that was being arranged for the sake of one or two matches - work would already have been going on to set up that loan. And at the end of the day Brighton went through January unbeaten anyway, winning two and drawing the other three.

Provide one single post from this entire thread (let alone plenty) where anyone displays any ‘hatred’ for Ostigard. The most critical poster of the lad on the first few posts ….., Is you.

Quotes demonstrating hatred would be good though bayern cos I just read through the first 50 posts and have no idea what you’re talking about. The worst thing I could find was the word “arrogant” - and that was you saying that. It’s all very moderate and if anything weighted towards Osti against MON. Dunno maybe I missed something.

Whatever "the truth" was about MON, that train was a rail short of going to the end of the line. Enough to start Thomas the Tank Engine drinking.
Welcome to the Quelle Misere, today's special is Beige. May I take your order?

As said before I think it was the right thing to do to drop him in the formation we played, he is much better as a central defender in a back four though. Still he will need a creative and quick player alongside him to be at his best. Pace and skills on the ball is something he lacks.

I'm probably one of the 'haters' as you call us although I don't hate him. Even before he left us or did that interview,I just thought he was very overrated by people because of his chest beating and shows of passion rather than his play. The same people who castigate Nathan Jones for his behaviour seem to delight in players with the same pomposity. I prefer players like Shawcross who let their football do the talking.

He was massively overrated but that changed when he did that interview. The stuff people were coming out with was as daft as those overrating him for the reasons you say.

Hate was far too strong a word an irrelevant aspect of a players personality led you to develop a negative impression. His football was actually very adequate, much more adequate than those who replaced him.

Bayern is back to his old tricks. I thought that he was a reformed man, the way he was so nice about AN. I don't hear any complaints about Sparrow,Taylor and all the other young gems being overlooked. It must be because the results and performances have been so good.

Nothing to do with the fact that when they've played they've looked raw as fuck?

Just scored for Norway with powerful header against Ireland in Dublin, aregular at centre back for national side and for Napoli, was there ever a chance we could have signed him last year ?

He replaced him with Chester how could it have been the right thing to do? Otsigaard? replaced him with THB one loan wage out one in Dunner talk crap Ostigaard was directly replaced in the team by Chester weeks before THB's arrival. Chester was absolutely dire, far slower and less mobile than Osti less defensively solid and caught dwelling on the ball on numerous occasions, THB himself was far more error prone than Osti too. Osigaard's removal from the starting line up, matchday squad and ultimately the club was clearly personal on behalf of MON. THB was subsequently preffered to Wilmot as a CB and even RB without merit. We might not have known it at the time but unjustifiable selection is the beggining of the end for any manager.
