Top 10, just about. We're not good enough to go up, I don't think we're bad enough to go down.
If some of the younger players shine though we could still have an exciting season, fingers crossed Tyrese rediscovers his form and DWP comes of age.

Oh we are bad enough alright.the goals we have conceded so far ,are through not marking players in the box,a recipe for disaster in any league.

With this current crop of players I’d say 10th at best. We just haven’t got enough going forward to challenge for top 6 and unless the defence settles then we’ll still keep conceding silly goals.

I think we will just about escape bottom spot. Can’t see us breaking into the top 20 though.

Win the league by 15 points, MON gets manager of the season and Gayle knocks in 44 goals to break Mitrovic’s record😜

Well it’s time to try and pin the tail on the donkey window still open or not , overall I feel wevdcregressed this summer and while gayle and William May work gayle has to be a ,material risk as does Amy assumption on Campbell , souttar or Powell making sustained contributions
on that basis Id suggest downside risk v last year and a strong chance of managerial change in the autumn
Therefore I’m at a range of 47 to 52 points

Similar to the last few seasons. Need to see evidence to the contrary that we have the ability and attitude to make that push.
Until then, 14th.

It always makes me piss when people make predictions using preseason matches as some kind marker. Does anyone actually think that we would risk any of our players and tell them to go full tilt risking injury? Pre season friendlies mean the square root of fuck all where a season goes. Remember Pulis and Rhyl?
I'll go for a top half finish.

A one point gain from last season and a contract extension for our glorious leader.
Heady times indeed

At the start of last season I was very optimistic and felt a playoff place was there for the taking. Luton and Huddersfield proved it was, but the manager wasn't able to get the most out of a decent squad. I was hoping for something to spark a change during pre-season, new tactics, exciting signings to radically change the team but pre-season seems to have been an extension of last season and there seems to be little optimism around the club. That's really concerning. As it stands at the moment without any major injection of quality we will be more concerned about the bottom of the table rather than the top and the releagtion places look like they will be a real dogfight and I hope we can keep away from getting dragged into it. I can only see maybe 5/6 teams less competitive than us....so 16th for me and reaffirms SCFC as now just another bland midtable championship club with our premier league legacy now a distant memory

Top 6 IF we can find a goalscorer who can get 20+😄 Mid-table again if we can’t ☹️ Gayle, so top 6 it is then 😁

18th or above all season please. I will be happy enough if we can afford the relegation fight. With FFP do you think we can afford it?
