Easily the worst Stoke City goalkeeper in my lifetime (I'm 50) Even Haugaard was better He was shocking but thought Carl Muggleton was horrendous also. He got worse and worse did Muggers but he was Banks like compared to Marshall

But they aren’t emulating it. All we see is slow, tedious possession-based football with limited players who are not going to pass it around like they have suddenly become Barca mid-2000’s. When you watch other Championship teams, it’s largely the same. When you watch much of the Premier League, it’s the same deal as well. Occasionally a team will have a game where everything clicks and we can go “oh, why can’t we play like that all the time”, but for the most part, it’s slow, tedious passing around the back with no end in sight. Sorry as an argument for agricultural football it’s not working on me. Fair enough.

Ah yes, Mike Macdonald - he really was bad. Even as a young lad at the time I remember thinking just how bloody awful he was.

But he was the first keeper I can remember clearing the ball clean out of the stadium. It might have been his home debut, he thumped the ball clean over the top of the Butler Street Stand.

I remember someone calling Sidibe 'the next Bangoura'. Could see why. They both come from the same vast continent . Similarities were uncanny.

So basically he's a Scottish keeper which is a worry because we had a couple of bad Scottish keepers decades ago The other half had a Wembley U21 Program Eng v Scotland from donkeys ago saved for some reason. Had a quick glance and a certain Ronnie Sinclair was quoted within the program stating his ambition was one day to become a professional footballer, pity it never happened, oh hang on... Another poor Scottish keeper.

He never made mistakes, well many but other teams seemed to have far better than us . We tried to sign Steve Cherry seem to remember but failed

30 years old playing for St Johnston. Never played for his country which is notorious for having dodgy keepers
When we have a young England keeper on the books
If this manager gets passed the start of the World Cup I’d be amazed

Had better keepers than England for decent periods

He was awful though.
