Is he as good as all this hypes made him out to be??? I got to admit, I know very little about him apart from he's Rory's son and what I've read on here...... So I'm kinda expecting some kind of God!!! From what I’ve seen he looks very special indeed and we’re damn lucky to get him. That said, unrealistically high expectations are a concern, especially if we continue to churn out dross of the flavour we did last night. He’s not going to prosper if we play like that.

Now we need to really kick on and start giving him and Gayle some service.....
Over to you Michael.

what the fuck are we going to talk about now? Oh, I think the manager will provide plenty for us to comment upon, sadly. 😕

Extremely excited by this signing. Whether it was Man City or Delap who decided what his best option is(and I do believe City ultimately decide his career path)we have acquired a player who has scored for fun at every level he has played at and teams have bid millions, allegedly to buy him plus loads want him on loan. I suppose we are not as toxic as some people think we are.

We really have to get rid of O'Neill soon - it's getting really hard to turn what is obviously great news and the result of hard work on behalf of all those involved into yet another twisted reason to have a pop at the club without looking completely mental.

Michael O'Neill befriends Pep and works extra long hours to finally get a player the club has always wanted, in fact Delap wouldn't have joined if it wasn't for O'Neill. How does the Stoke fan react, "We really have to get rid of O'Neill soon"...did it occur to you that O'Neill just moved further away from such a move?

I just guess it's the Stokie DNA that tries to stop the excitement! 😝 'I had so many dreams, I had so many breakthroughs.... '

No Plan B and even one of our players hates us Doom despair and agony on me. Deep dark depression, excessive misery, If it werent' for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all But yet I am a Stoke fan And I will still stand tall! Edit: no, I will not be quitting the day job Further edit: my God...that was cringeworthy. I apologize

Don’t get the hype around this signing given the lack of mens football he’s played.
I can see him getting 2 goals and less than 15 appearances this season with many of those hyping him up now saying his signing was a poor one and that he lacks experience when he doesn’t deliver.
I really hope I’m wrong though

The amount of back slapping from the "ITK" brigade is rather nauseating to witness 🙈

The reason it didn't occur to me is because there are loads of bizarre posts having a pop at O'Neill and the club for making a good signing. Yours is about the only post that suggests that a MoN outer might reconsider and become a MoN inner -although it's a bit odd that it's because of MoN's ability to suck up to other managers - that just sounds a bit creepy.

I’m looking forward to seeing Liam play for us.
Wouldn’t it be great if he took the 17 shirt a couple of steps further to match Ryan. He plays every game this season, we get promoted, he signs permanently and stays with us for his whole career.

What could be an outside chance, albeit slim, is if the first part came true by getting us up, then Man City could want to see him tested in the Premier League and loan him for a further twelve months. If only 🙏.

With Gayle currently nursing a tight hamstring think we may see him rested and Delap and Brown partnering each other.

Or imagine going from man citeh not getting a kick to coming to somewhere where he's going be playing pretty much every week. Wonder which one he prefers? The first option, obviously. However, he's 19 years old. I can't imagine his career aspiration is to be here, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's regret creeping in already having suffered that 90 minute display last night. I think the lad genuinely believes he will be able to push us on listening to him in that interview the club did.

Its the easy way out but the fact is wed have Campbell and gayle not in the starting eleven and he surely ahs to get three of those on the pitch to start in this legit and givne Man City clearly want game tome for delap then its a nonsense to leave tops of the others out
