Blimey, if that’s another out the door then I’m just glad we don’t get too many injury problems. If we do though, then at least I’ve got confidence that the club will have a plan to reduce the impact of any key player, phew.

We can’t keep decimating the squad though can we? At least until we get some players in. What do you mean, Sterling to replace HC at RB/RWB and Tom Edwards to replace Sterling in the treatment room. Makes perfect sense to me.

A good portion of new recruits recently have had injury concerns or totally incapacitated it hasn't stopped us tearing this league up. 😀 😂😂

If it’s what Neil wants then fair enough. If he picked Wilmott over Clarke for defensive ability then Clarke is fine for as his attacking is very average. Our squad and staff needs a shake up as we continue to underperform. Good in Neil fit actually making decisions .

He’s been a big disappointment for me in the sense he isn’t the wing back I thought we were getting. Did very well in Scotland which is on a par with the Champo, but he has found this league hard to adapt to.
I think he would have been a much better CB than FB or WB, so it’s a shame he was barely played in that position. I’d have sooner preferred Harry than Fox!

Agree the lack of centre back minutes has probably been the most baffling part. If we’re going to play a back five he’s surely a much better option at right centre back than hanging Souttar out to dry.

He’s built like an open-side flanker, never in a million years a wing back.

Another good decision, he tries but he isn't good enough at defending or attacking.

He’s built like an open-side flanker, never in a million years a wing back. Agree good pace and power but very limited technically. Just looked like a mobile centre back trying to play wingback to me. As others have said I don't know why he wasn't given a go as rcb in a three.

I keep saying all 6 loanees will probably leave. Wishful thinking but I hope you're correct. Can't see Smallbone going back as AN seems to like him.

Neil going up in my estimation if he cuts this loan short as well. Clarke has been absolutely crap

I keep saying all 6 loanees will probably leave. If we've got a chance to sign sterling and we think he's not likely to stay fit then he's the only one i could see staying, albeit maybe on a permanent.

I didn’t mind him, about the only player with pace and power we have.
He did drive us forward aswell.
Gotta hope AN has a plan

Got a decent cross on him and deceptively good in the air.
But can’t defend too well.
Won’t be a huge miss.

Thought he was a half decent player, but would have preferred to see him at RCB as we lack pace from the centre backs.

I liked Clarke’s energy and aggression but thought he was a terrible footballer at both ends of the pitch. I would have tried him at RCB too with Souttar in the centre and Wilmot at LCB but it would have been in desperation.

Not sure if he’s any good or not. Hung out to dry playing as a wing back all season which he most definitely is not

Maxed out on FFP Players out to get players in That means loans out loans in Don’t think Souttar will go till the summer imho If we get relegated which is a possibility, especially if you read the Turkish press, how does that effect his transfer value ?

Is there any other evidence of Clarke going to Ipswich other than that one tweet? is that person even ITK? Dunno but it would be a good idea. Apart from his athleticism he’s not championship standard in any area of his game. Dropping down a level would seem sensible.

I am sorry but: Clarke is a keep ! Yeah sure if you want to watch a team of enthusiastic players who aren’t very good at football. Pick him with Jacob Brown and you only need to find another 9.

Is there any other evidence of Clarke going to Ipswich other than that one tweet? is that person even ITK? It's completely unsubstantiated tittle-tattle - but it was more the messageboard post that I found interesting. But, of course, it could be complete bollocks. www.twtd.co.uk/forum/550640/harry-clarke/#23
