What I don't understand is why are most going potty over this guy but seem dead against giving our own a go such as Forester, whats the difference? No one is “going potty” and Clarke is coming here to play as a right back. Apart from that, great comparison. Plenty of people are getting excited about a player that hasn't played in the Champ before, the same thing being used against one of our own. Just to be clear, I'm not complaining about us signing him. |

It looks like he has the basic tools to succeed at this level. Athletic and quick with a decent enough end product.
Will be interesting to see his defensive ability, and also how well his 50+ games have helped him where maybe some of our other loanees have struggled.

Doesn't look like a 21 year old - somebody needs to double check his birth certificate. |

He said all the right things. Could be a good signing. God knows we need a fast right back in a back four or a fast wing back in a back three. Pace on both wings will spread the defense and create more space in the middle. Hopefully Tymon can step up and give that balance.

See your point but is quite a promising player and rather we signed him than say a rival. |

This really is a great signing. His excellent long balls have already been mentioned, but the width he provides down the right flank means he's able to get shots in on goal. However he's not just a maker of goal opportunities (not far off a chance made each game for the 16 matches he played on the wing in Scotland), he can also defend - superb in the air and at cutting out passes, good in the tackle, and his clearance rate is brilliant.
I'd never heard of him before, but this lad has bags of potential so well done to the scouting team for pulling this one off!
