One good game (last match) but that's it. No great loss if it happens I don't think.

Absolutely no problem with the manager releasing players he believes aren’t performing. Had a decent game Saturday but has been largely underwhelming and injury prone. Just needs to get the replacements right

Aren’t Reading still under a transfer embargo? Pretty sure they can only sign players on a free or loan.
So he’d either be going there on loan or a swap deal.

Wonder how much they’re offering for him? I'm almost sure they're under a transfer embargo still, so it'd be a loan. It'd be very strange if we did as Neil seems to rate him and it'd mean getting a replacement in surely.

Hasn't it come out that we're keen to keep Powell and want to give a new contract since then? It's all over the place.

I can’t see us letting him go for free with how long is left on his contract. Would be a strange move.

No problem with him going, he's been very disappointing over the short spell he has been here.
Massive problem if he goes for free.

Reading are trying to shift Ovie Ejaria and Alex Neil has said that he wants wingers...

Honestly, with Laurent, Powell and Flint mentioned if we get in some non-injury prone midfielders for those mentioned it could be a coup we need to get stability. Laurent has flashed but not frequent enough for me, Powell is class but when he is available and that is never. Flint is decent cover but would like younger CB in on less.

Spent about half an hour with the Reading players on Saturday and hugging their backroom staff before the match. Perhaps he knew something already. Was expecting him to have a poor game before the game, after the love-in , but the opposite happened.

I watched after the Gayle goal, Laurent didn't join in and turned away, which I thought strange. Perhaps it was what Neil alluded to, when he said decisions would be made that initially some might not understand?.

If a decent fee come in I'd take it for him.

I have to say he was all over their players on Saturday before and after, high fiving them and arms round each other. Maybe Neil sees him as a way to raise some more dosh?

They can't pay a fee though, can they? So it'd have to be a loan/swap, or jut a means of shedding one of our better earners that he doesn't particularly rate?
