See the forest fan run and head butt him hope he gets a long prison sentence absolutely brain dead. Looks like one of the Sheff U staff ran after him. Hope he got him. Shouldn't have been too hard to be fair or to find him wearing a fluorescent coat. What a fat, stupid arse he was. Hopefully as you say he gets caught. Be bad on Forest if not

He's a former Forest player too did ok for them, even if he had been shit for them no excuse, what an idiot he best get himself down the pub he'll be behind bars before the play off final and I doubt he gets out before they are relegated back.

I was at the University of Nottingham and present outside the Bell Inn pub in the Old Market Square the night Brian Clough paraded the European Cup from the balcony of the Town Hall.
To that end I have always had an affinity with Forest in so far as you can with another club.
On the one hand I wish them well and on the other Forest away is/was the best away game on the calendar bar none, nothing else even remotely close :-(
As for Billy Sharp. I've never heard of him, but plainly the assailant should be banged up:-)

Sadly it was only a matter of time before this happened. Harsh but I’d make them replay the tie. It’s the only way to cut behaviour out like this.
It is only one idiot but how long before someone takes on a weapon and causes serious harm to someone.
Allowing fans on at the end of a game isn’t a good idea because there will always be one idiot who wants to make a name for themselves. it’s just to risky for the travelling players.
The individual should be punished but some accountability should be put on the club too.

Did something similar happen earlier in the season with a Forest fan on the pitch? Leicester in the cup? Or was that a Leicester fan?

Just one alert man with a tranquilizer dart. Take the hyena down and cage it.
More humane than plan B: A killer-drone running security.
That video seriously pissed me off. Had to tweak the VPN, so by the time I fooled them into thinking I was coming in from London (doffs cap) in order to watch the video, was already in a mood.
To go after Sharp like that - no words can defend that. Too many fans on the field, too quick, looked as chaotic as Vale Park during the annual bathing.
Only lightened by a mental image of someone going after Huth like that. He'd have bear-hugged them to sleep while smiling. (Or simply ate them) Really, doubt any of our players back in the 60's/70's could have refrained from instinctively braining the idiot.
Don't know where I'm going with this other than...sign me up for the pissed-off list. (MILES better than the pissed-on list!)

I agree with the above they should be made to replay the game. If they can't do this then they should be made to play with no fans at Wembley. Wouldn't surprise me if something like this happens at vale too if they beat Swindon, especially to mccurdie. Mind you he would probably batter them

However dickheads like him need finding and locking up

Remember that tool who attacked the QPR goalie in front of the Boothen End last time we were in the Championship? Glass houses and all that, we have our own fair share of ‘tools’ - terrible behaviour

It’s like the parents of kids who commit serious offences they need to be more accountable and be able to demonstrate that they’ve done all they can to stop it happening and if it means spending more money on better security so be it. If not this won’t be the first or last serious incident and where does it end. Such a shame as v Forest are a good club.

Every club is a good club mate but it only needs one I know you’re right that’s where it’s very sad and needs properly addressing and proper investigations putting in and proper stewarding. This can’t be allowed to happen again. His acts will have ruined the evening for so many decent fans who see this. He needs a serious sentence and a line drawing in the sand not some community order and lifetime ban (which of course should happen).

The Leicester fan who tried punching Forest players got 4 months inside and a ten year ban, I reckon this is going to be a couple of years inside.

He'd of been detained sharpish had a certain Mr Clough been patrolling the touchline and dug out area!
Remember a Bristol Rovers fan come on the pitch during a game and try and attack Gavin Ward. Suffice to say the fan lost!

I was there at the Bristol Rovers game. The coward got his just desserts from Gav. One day something much worse will likely happen so punishing this idiot and setting an example will stem the tide.

Utterly cowardly. The amount of teenagers and grown men on the pitch at then end visibly holding smoke bombs/flares also need locking up (or banning minimum - they are against the law arent they?) - ridiculous. I can sort of get if you get promoted running onto the pitch, even a last day survival against the odds, its a joyous moment But a lucky semi final win on pens? You havent won anything yet! Sadly think fences (or anti climb meshing ones as at Wembley) will make a reappearance. We were away at Forest when that random lad decided to run on in the last minute this season, looked like a teenager, dodging stewards and making a bee line for players - he could have had any sort of weapon on him, happily it was just him as a tool. Saw him chucked in the back of a plod van after the game Parents sending little kids on need banning too for life. Its all good fun until some terrorist sends a kid on with a backpack....extreme but... jimmygscfc1234 - me too - Gavin twatted him :-) - hope all is well Mike!

Totally abhorrent
Though the impact of such behaviour should be treated on an individual basis , sadly it impacts on us all collectively , either our clubs when it comes to costs and demands from authorities to bare the cost to reduce the likelihood of such actions and importantly when it comes to how the free flow of fans is viewed , treated , controlled and policed ..and makes those that try to argue fans should be treated fairly that much harder ..because sadly some still seek to abuse or take advantage of any light handedness ..
