I do get the thing about the away fans i have not been to every ground in the country but maybe over 50% & i cannot think of any other ground i been to were the away fans are right next to were the teams enter the pitch. I do think on some games it does give the away team a boost mainly when they sell out there allocation it can't be that hard to move them across to the far corner of the south stand. Barnsley is the only 1 I can think of

Sell the ground and build a new one, somewhere warmer, more convenient and more modern, with the fans in mind. They have the money to do this. Like where? Alicante?

Top 6. We had the squad to do it this year had the manager had more balls and not lost the plot in jan. We had the squad but not the fit squad

Do something with the big grey wall by the South Stand.
Give the whole exterior of the stadium a makeover.
Move the Stanley Matthews statue closer to the ground.
Improve the food quality.
Give the concourses a makeover with more club history and moments dotted about the place.
Get a bus shelter built for us folks that wait after the games to get back into Stoke town.

My objectives are to keep going and having a right laugh with my mates who I've known and sat with for donkeys years, and hopefully see some winning football in the process......

Huge piece of land on City Road if you look on google maps, big enough for a massive ground and loads of apartments around it Could even build it bottom of potteries way in Hanley where the arena should have been. Everything in the middle of city and build a proper tram network for fans. No more small-time stoke attitude and bring a buzz back to the town centre.

What about that massive piece of land by Tesco in hanley ?would help regenerate the city plenty of bars, hotels, food within walking distance.Traffic links 100 percent better

That new multi story car park might prove its worth if we moved there.

Relocate Stoke to Hanley? Really! Why not, still Stoke on Trent. Anything to get away from the soulless hole we are in now. Transport shit, pubs non existent, atmosphere shit. There was nothing soulless about the stadium when we were in the Premier League and the atmosphere was lauded as amongst the best in the country. Fans didn't seem to have too much trouble getting there either. You're living in cloud cuckoo land if you think a football stadium could ever be built in those areas of the city. New stadiums are never built in city centres these days.

New investment from a forward thinking individual that can kick the current owners up the backside and get them into the 21st century.

The more I think of the idea of moving to land on potteries way, building a new stadium, the more I wish it could happen. Imagine a state of the art stadium there with bars, food, etc around it ? What a statement it could make on our city. They would get decent money for the sale of the 365, what a legacy the coates family would be leaving on our city.A venue that could hold concerts and other major events.A dream I know but with their wealth feasible.

Finish in the top 6. I don’t care how the football is played, what formation, what players. Finish in the top 6 and I’d be happy.
Finish outside it and I’ll be frustrated.

Huge piece of land on City Road if you look on google maps, big enough for a massive ground and loads of apartments around it Wouldn’t it costs probably about 50-100 million to create a brand new ground? I think Peter Coates loves the club, I don’t think he’d be willing to throw that kind of money away for something that isn’t really necessary.

I really don't get the hate for the Brit. It's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.

If stoke moved to Hanley that's me done vale country.. as for the brit/bet it just needs some forward thinking on how to make it better thinking that wasn't put into it when it was built (on the cheap) and with people (moxey) in charge of it who wouldn't listen to fans on how it should of been built (away end where boothen is all corners filled in even if it meant slightly smaller capacity etc) some great ideas on here that could be done.

Probably would cost 100 million plus, but what else is he going to do with his money? It's not that he has to leave it for his children is it. He could invest on a stadium that could be a landmark for Stoke on Trent and an everlasting memory in the city he clearly loves.

Not saying he's short but i would imagine most of the money is Denise's who doesn't particularly like football or us much abd would be shut of it if she had the choice i think.

And when he builds it with the £100m he doesn’t need to have you’ll be saying I’m not going to watch that shit until he spends more of the millions of pounds he apparently doesn’t need…..fuck me It’s always great playing with somebody else’s money ….selfish fuckers they are

Check Luton's new ground out I'm sure it will be very nice. Nowhere near the town centre though.
