Shit the bed. First Wembley appearance for 26 years and they're taking less fans than we had ST holders this season. If it were a dog you'd put it down. Taking 3 or 4 times normal attendance - what would we take in similar circumstances? We'd have to get relegated to the basement division for the first time ever in our history to find out. Come on Mansfield.

At the end of the day they are at Wembley and we're at home reflecting on yet another dismal season Spot on , they’re going to enjoy a great day out in London and Wembley win or lose , and we’re summing up our totally wank season again

Except you said the same on the “Man Utd are rubbish” thread…….

Yes you stick to enjoying your footy under ONeill , you’re certainly a happy clapper …… So you would rather be in a League 2 play off final, with the possibility of still being in League 2 next season than being in the Championship? What a strange bloke.

So did Bromley last week ….If only we were in the national league eh I mean seriously cmon ffs With ONeill in charge be careful what you wish for Oh I’m no O’Neill fan mate But using your logic if we got relegated to the bottom tier you’d think it was great because we’d made a league 2 play off final and not be in the 2nd tier? That’s pretty fucked up

I go to Liverpool regularly and every time i go the Everton fans are wishing Liverpool well as them winning the champions league will be the great for the city …..like fuck they are
But yet we’ve got people on here thinking a club going from league 2 to league 1 will be good for Stoke on Trent
Fucking heads have fell off

Was talking to a couple of Vale fans in the pub last night (I know I know) and they said quite a few said they were saving their money for the Robbie Williams gig👀 I went to a Robbie Williams gig a while back. I ended up sitting next to a female insurance broker. And through it all, she offered me protection.

How many other clubs have won at the 3 finals grounds?
Vale could be joining that list later, which is enough for wanting them to get hammered.

Annoying one for me. Normally I'd want vale get smashed, but my daughter, who can't stand football is going with her vale fan boyfriend. She wasn't going go as she's never been a game before, but I told her to have a day out in London and Wembley.
Part of me hopes vale get smashed, a small part of me hopes they have a good day out, and they'll only enjoy it if they win. Bloody hell!

Question for the few people on here saying it’s ‘good for the city’ if they get promoted…. Can you explain how? A team that have been in the bottom tier of English professional football for ten of the last fifteen seasons getting promoted to the third tier benefits Stoke on Trent how exactly? Their crowds will increase slightly from 4-5k to around 6k, so the club will benefit from higher revenue… but how is Stoke on Trent going to benefit?

I would imagine folk would say bigger away followings at Vale Pk would spend more money in the City

Come on Mansfield, no one fancies you but you can do this! [ Apart from the majority of bookmakers I did not realise that. I thought Vale finished above them and further Vale's star would be in the ascendancy having dispatched the only serious outfit in the competition in the previous round.
