Far more than the MoN fantasists. But let’s forget about him eh. 😂 You need to reel it in and contain your excitement a bit pal. Just think how wild Sunday will be (and Monday when you think back) if we can nick a point at Reading on Sunday. The excitement is great because that bloke was sucking the soul out of this club and it suddenly feels alive again. It’s great. Such a relief we’re rid of him. Such a waste that it wasn’t in May 2021 because nothing changed in those 15 months. More precious time wasted by this club on someone who was clearly not able to carry us forward. Maybe the owners have learned because they made the decision early for them. We Stoke fans can only hope that’s the case.

Has an edge about him and a few promotions behind him. Need big improvements from Wednesday though which wasn't inspiring in the slightest against one of the weakest sides that will come to the britannia this season. Still hoping we will see another signing or two come through. Not sure how I feel about Fox/Thompson as LB/LWB options. And not sure why we have 3 players on loan competing for one position either. Really hoping we at least make a move for Zander Clark. Would be criminal to not bring in another keeper.

Your man's spent the budget on players we didn't need leaving us with no funds for the most important position to upgrade.

I preferred the 3-0 win in February where we had 22 shots to their 3 (they had 5 on target on Wednesday) . But we all see matches through different lenses I guess.

I couldn’t even begin to say who that win was against and I was almost certainly there. Such was how bad we were at home under him in his last two seasons here.

He spent no money on players and cut the wage budget significantly from last season? The club also paid him and his assistant off while getting Alex Neil in on a bumper 3 year contract. I think more of the moneys went there.

I still want to see Alex Neil try a back 5 once Clarke, Souttar and Tymon are back. Possibly even with Clarke at RCB depending on how Sterling gets on.

Loic Bade defender from Rennes joining Forest, their 21st signing of the summer following Josh Bowler who was recently confirmed aswell from Blackpool before being shipped
Astonishing amount of new signings for one transfer window, Forest have definitely gone for it but its such a gamble if goes wrong at the same time.

Sterling Wilmot Souttar Tymon Laurent Baker Campbell Powell Fosu Delap Powell is our best player. Play him in his best position. The 3 at the back looks better with Sterling but alienates Powell. Doing that is just terrible management.

Hopefully AN will do the biz. But I don't think he would have taken the job a year ago, with all the restrictions. He may well have been offered it before MON got it and turned it down. AN likes to spend. Hopefully we won't repeat our past mistakes.

And if they stay up and he does well on loan, they have a player better for the Premier League. Seems like decent business to me?

He will be playing at a higher level and I’m guessing/presuming in Europe too. You know he can waltz this league. Now can he handle the step up?

Missed that gem. The job he did at Preston for those first few years was exceptional really. Play off candidates when they should have relegation certs and as you say on a tiny budget too.

Now he's been given a transfer window and left AN with no room to manoeuvre and a squad with gaping holes in certain positions.

That was it! I was close He was either making up transfer stories or physically threatening someone..there was no in between Did he run a cafe? Or was that someone else? I think he was some sort of doorman/bouncer. You might have thought he had a cafe because he used to boast about how much he could eat at the breakfast buffet.
