do you think so mate? I know they’ve also got some really good players but I think we are more well balanced, majority of the squad have come through together though youth too. Yes they have a great squad, especially at CB take Mbappe out though Good argument for England to be second favourites bags of talent good experience manager in complete control, no off the pitch dramas anymore Germany at home will be better than they have but France, England stand out I see your point mate, game in the World Cup I thought we outplayed them, barring a poor ref and two brilliant goals from them. I think Southgate has bought out this ruthlessness and almost machine like thinking for the lads, I’ve got a really good feeling about the euros |

England look like the could just be the right age for the next tournament. Kane is still in peak years, the midfield all looks great (only Henderson is (way into) 30s). I’m not a big fan of Pickford but he is at least average for decent international teams.
If we could find a way to bring through a top central defender soon as well, we could be truly excellent.
It kind of feels like now or never as Belgium/Italy seem too old and Spain may not be complete for the Euros either.

They have added a steel and arrogance that all the top sides have, the performance in Naples stood out, dismissed the Italians in their own back yard hardly breaking sweat. Tonight was impressive.

They have added a steel and arrogance that all the top sides have, the performance in Naples stood out, dismissed the Italians in their own back yard hardly breaking sweat. Tonight was impressive. First half in Naples was superb Second half was all Italy, English midfield collapsed however the defence was superb, kept them out, their only shot on target was their goal Italy are a strange side mind |

Stoke would likely beat them they were that bad. England pretty much played in neutral and didn’t even have to get into 1st gear. We’ve got some good players but the stand out for me was that Macguire and Gallagher are light years behind their teammates in terms of actual ability. A nice night though and the kids enjoyed it. |

Swear down my reaction when you boys appointed Southgate was 'oh oh' as felt he knew how to win an international football tournament.
Every other major nation seems to have an area of weakness apart from England - Spain play Joselu up top, Germany aren't firing, have France replaced Lloris? Etc.
You must be absolutely salivating at the prospect of having a serious tilt at a Euros hosted in Germany!!
A potential midfield of Belingham, Rice and TAA Looks frightening on any medium especially grass!

It's our own negativity and lack of confidence when we play the elite teams that will do for us. We should have gone at Italy in the euro final, we should have been aggressive with France in the world cup and played more direct. But overall, yes this is an excellent squad, but if we can't win a tournament with this squad, will we ever? The time is now |
