Delap's just missed a pen (although it was struck well enough)
He's not exactly had a season to remember.
Wonder where he'll turn up next season? Will he get another Championship loan, or will he have to go a bit lower? I still think there's enough about him to have a decent career at a good level

I agree with you, this season was always going to be tough being his first season out. Definitely a player in there. |

Might end up having a modestly successful Ben Brereton Diaz type career at a mid table Championship club but there's no way he's ever having a career with Man City. |

Would think you could get him quite a bit cheaper than that? We understand he was on Stoke's list in January but in the end Harry Souttar's sale happened so late we never got to find out how high or low he was on it. I should say that it's important that Neil gets the balance right in his back line and that probably means finding the ideal partner for Ben Wilmot. That might be more of a man mountain like Axel Tuanzebe? If only Tuanzebe was fit and available for 40-odd games a season. What do you think? The No.4, Alex Scott, is supposedly going to the Prem for about £20m this summer. |

Italy probably edged the game though. I think Chelsea paid about ÂŁ15m for the bloke who scored the winner who was at Reading last year, and their fans weren't that impressed by him. Just shows how hard a first loan is at a good level. |
