I couldn’t give a f… what two members of our squad thought. Most of the time that he played he was a total non factor- and at the end of the day this so called “ championship royalty “ player couldn’t hold down a place in a team whose highest finish is what- 14th? Good riddance. I was simply responding to the point(s) made that he's a "dismal footballer", which is patently not true. I understand he was largely disappointing for us (although actually I don't think as poor as some suggest). He’s a conman who was excellent at looking busy and being able to constantly pull his socks up over his knees to save them getting dirty

Some conman that.

Didn’t do it at all in 4 years at Stoke. It doesn’t matter what he did elsewhere. A fraud whose best days have been behind him for a long time. 14 goals in his last 149 appearances ( Huddersfield, Stoke,Luton, Reading). That is the real Tom Ince.

Been told this morning by a fairly reliable source that we are waiting to see what happens with Byrne (hardly breaking news I know) but also that Nyambe has kind of shot himself in the foot with regards to turning down a contract with Blackburn, we are interested but not as much as the player would have hoped and now doesn't seem to have as many options as first thought.

I can’t believe how he’s earn’t (sorry wrong term) a living for so long……a complete imposter. Thanks Dad Probably because before Stoke he scored a pretty impressive amount of goals for someone that isn't a striker, even at Stoke in his early showings.

He had a good spell where he scored a few goals. Certainly not the worst player in recent times.

Perhaps we could get him back by signing his dad as our new manager when AN gets sacked in a week or two?

For me , the fact that reading are third and missed out on going joint top by drawing with Norwich...tells me this league is awful
If we can't punch our weight,in the league this year , we are sh*t
There is no Marco Silva Fulham, no Daniel farke Norwich, no Marcelo biesla Leeds .
It's an entire league of nothing teams
If we are not going up this year, we are probably bottom half/ going down in a good year for the championship
Lord knows how many mitrovic would have scored in the championship this year... probably north of 50 goals a season!

He really wasn't that good against us, one great cross field pass and a few runs that flattered to deceive......he was by no means as bad as a few of his team mates during his tenure with us anyway.

Yep I think they went a bit over the top due to the fact it made a bit of a story. He was no better or worse than anyone else, in fact he wasted some great possession in the last third

Reading are having a purple patch and Ince will be loving it, thats no surprise. However, when things get sticky and they have to knuckle down and get stuck in we all know who the the first player will be to disappear despite being on the pitch...

For the price tag he was crap - another for the 10 Million club waste of space - yep, he had a few decent games but can anyone name them? He hid in games (v Wigan in 2020 he made ONE pass in 57 minutes), then went on a run where he lost the ability to beat a player.
Actually, last year when we had injuries he came in and did okay and he was one of the better players. However, it was clear he wanted out and I'm glad he's gone. He had chances and blew them constantly.
Like a few others have mentioned, lets see how he does when Reading hit a poor run of form.
