Apparently the reports about great achievements between the best buddies Russia and China during their meetings were accurate; more agreements on trade between the two countries for instance.
And their shared view according to Putin about the development in that part off the world and what's ahead of them.
I think Japan is in danger, when both these countries now want to expand, together.
It has never looked more frightening before.

It appears that whenever a head of state meets Xi, they say something Pro China, you can add Brazil and France to the list.

Russia has stopped shooting modern missiles. Intel says they're low and can only make a few hundred per year. Instead there are more S-300 strikes, they're inaccurate and Russia just throws them at civilians. Luckily lots hit empty roads, parks etc so they don't always kill. It's wild because they're among the best long range angry-aircraft missiles and cost ~$1 million, but apparently Russia started with ~8k so can keep shooting. Source with Ukrainian intel on Russian missile supplies.

Update from Strelkov, the Russian terrorist who shot down the flight from Amsterdam and set up one of the "separatist" regions.
Fits everything else I've seen. Wagner running out of troops so others are thrown into Bakhmut.
The Russian winter offensive dying down and looks like taking Bakhmut but nothing else big. Things could change if one side commits reserves though.

Ukrainian propaganda is pushing lots of videos like this still. In lots of cases the weather, equipment & unit patches show they're recent.
11 days until US documents said Ukraine's main offensive brigades will finish training.
Launch time of U-Day still a secret.

The Danes have photos of Russian ships near Nord Stream explosion sites just days before the blasts. Three theories so far: 1. Maybe Ukrainian did it. Scuba divers rented a small boat or something. I don't think there's evidence for this? 2. Seymour Hersh said NATO did it. The ship he blamed was in port 400+ miles away and the technology he talked about was nonsense. 3. Maybe Russia did it. A Russian ship with a mechanical submarine turned off its locator and then sailed towards the site while following a route that dodged known NATO radars. It had plenty of time to go there and get back but there are gaps in the satellite coverage. If the new photos show that ship then a Russian vessel carrying a submarine that could apply bombs to pipelines was at the site where pipelines then got bombed.

27 Russian Spy Ships in and out of many Swedish harbours along the coastline now during the last few months. Swedish text-tv late news.
They are said to be afraid of a swedish attack.

Now reports saying 50 Russians ships of different sizes in northern territory close to Sweden and between our two main islands in the east.
A team from DR, the Danish Radio and Television broadcasting, went closer to one of the larger ships and then armed men in disguise with automatic weapons appeared on the deck.

Things I saw today: - Bakhmut grinds on, some back and forth. - Rumours about start of Ukrainian counteroffensive. - still some rain forecast over south until end of month. - claimed a Russian jet accidentally dropped bombs on Belgorod, Russia. link. - Russia lost another attack helicopter. Reliable Russian source, says it crashed. Looks like a Mi-35 or Mi-24. They basically look the same I think. - Denmark and Netherlands funding 14 more Leopard 2 tanks for Ukraine. Also I ordered a keyring made with a piece from a Mi-35 that Ukraine shot down. They're on sale from government site here and 85% of sale goes to help Ukraine.

All NATO allies have agreed that Ukraine will become a member, says secretary general Jens Stoltenberg.
Speaking ahead of a meeting of the Ukraine defence contact group at Ramstein air base in Germany, he also told reporters that, once the war in Ukraine ends, Kyiv must have "the deterrence to prevent new attacks".
He said that the main focus is now to ensure the country prevails against Russia.

There's a new video showing trench fighting where they fight off and kill a bunch of Russians. It's insane and NSFW, it's titled "Defending the road of life to Bakhmut". There are also new satellite pictures showing just how much artillery ammo Russia has spent on the trenches defending Bakhmut roads. Thousands of rounds against dug-in people is probably better than thousands of rounds against the counteroffensive I'd hope.

Ukraine war: Bakhmut defender remembered by comrades www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-65313367Not an easy article to read. How is this allowed to continue to happen Sounds like WW1! Those Russians being sent to slaughter. Literal cannon fodder. Something more has to be done to end this atrocity.

Can I suggest more Russian cannon fodder, reports are saying that the latest Russian casualties are the full time troops not Joe Bloggs dragged off the streets although electronic call ups are now being sent out now to students and not the furthest points you’ve never heard of inside Russia. No sympathy whatsoever for them

Four nordic broadcasting companies have made a three parts documentary about the activities from ships et cetera in the north.
Episode 1 was on tv this week (didn't see it myself), but the reaction was strong from Russia. They've said they will reply strongly.
Now in the media the publisher have said the first episode was very soft, just kind of a mild presentation. It's the second episode that is really tough ...
Let see how that goes. The ministers was called to an extra meeting in Sweden after the first episode.

Prigozhin at it again, calling for Russia to “anchor” its positions and revert to a defensive position to hold its gains. Long time rival Igor Girkin has subsequently called for Prigozhins arrest for undermining Russias territorial integrity.
