Worth a look, hoping it might knock some sense into our resident war monger. If Russia want to get out of the whole of Ukraine and accept them as part of NATO then it will. That’s the only thing that needs to happen.

I didn’t realise that Nova Kakhovka is where the Crimean canal starts.
Ukraine taking that town and the area around it would allow them to damn the canal again and make conditions in Crimea harder.

I agree. The war is becoming more complex by the day and NATO High Command will be feverishly trying to outplay the chess game that's happening. It's a damned shame they're having to do it without arming the UKR with weapons they really need. OS.

They have better trained troops, equipment, morale and end goal. I think they’ll keep prodding over the Dnieper but Melitopol next makes sense. Negates a major crossing then too.

What happens now Russia is resorting to S-300 missiles all the time.
Hopefully some ostriches get out and peck the shit out of Russian soldiers. They 're angry bastards when they haven't had their home blown up.

Some folk think there are three options: 1) Melitopol. The biggest prize & cuts the southern railway. 2) Northern Luhansk through Svatove. 3) Near Bakhmut to break worn down Russians and regain fortifications. Option 1) looks risky - the area is really open and flat, so any attack would be straight into Russian artillery. Some people are suggesting #2. It looks more achievable, and the Russians are already struggling there. But Melitopol would be a much bigger win.

Claimed that these are Russian soldiers trying to outflank Bakhmut. Thermal vision is getting important.

For me the Russian war crimes against Ukrainians are the worst but there's something really awful in a very particular way when innocent animals get hurt. It makes me really angry and sad

I’ve seen quite a lot of footage of these munitions dropped on tanks from drones; they don’t seem to cause much destruction on impact though.
Anyone know their purpose?….

Had it landed directly on top of the tank those Russian soldiers would have been killed. OS.

It sounds like the Russians have broken through a line near Bakhmut.
They've been trying for months and must have lost thousands of lives to get this far.
Probably means they can advance a km or so - it's bad news but so long as they don't cut off supply lines it's bad but not awful.
Near Bakhmut is where a lot of those horrible WW1 like trench videos have come from.

Something to come back to in a few days.
If you're not following the details: every single day there are loads of claims like this. I thought it would be worth sharing one so we can all see later.
A trustworthy source has been saying that Russian bombers have been moving around like they did before the last major attacks, so there's a tiny bit of real evidence for this claim.

What we did is irrelevant, like all hypocrisy what uppery about the World Cup. It’s a tactic to change the subject that has no relevance to what’s going on to defend a terrible regime. It's relevant because we, the British, cannot bemoan Russian cultural theft and desecration with a straight face whilst still in possession of so much iconic cultural items that should be returned to other countries Thankfully people are begining to take corrective action and acknowledge that previous British actions removes our ability to take the Moral High Ground on current similar actions being taken by Russia now (Bayern excluded of course) The Horniman Museum is returning 6 Artefacts looted by British Soldiers fron Benin City 125 years ago (Does anyone see any parallels here?) www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/culture/2022/nov/28/london-museum-returns-looted-benin-city-artefacts-to-nigeriaAs I said in a different thread I would have preferred the Colston Statue had been voluntary removed and placed in a setting explaing the context why it was shameful to pay homage to a Mass Murderer The Wellcome Foundation have chosen a different approach and simply closed the Medicine Man Exhibition. It controversially shows a Painting of a "Benign" White Missionary administering to a sick man while a local Medicine Man is shown kneeling in supplication I would have preferred the Exhibition had remained open and contextualised and debated. This just seems to me an attempt to shut down debate about our past. www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/uk-63772864.amp

Shocking - Russia's fake "republic" in Donetsk claims these are how many of its soldiers have been killed and wounded, and this news is a bit old. Putin is "cleansing" the Ukrainian people by getting them slaughtered. If Russia suffered the same casualty rate then that would be 1.3 million casualties.
