Liz Truss makes Boris look like Einstein, it’s actually scary. Sunak will never understand or relate to people that struggle to feed their kids or heat their homes. I’d be more right of centre than left but these two clowns are incapable of leadership I'm no fan of Burley but she did show Truss up for the imbecile that she is last night. It's scary that this idiot is about to take control of the country ...

I'd say the same but in reverse. Imagine have a woke clown like Corbyn in charge, and starmer wouldn't be much better. I'm going to go out on a limb here and hazard a wild guess you were/are a fan of Donald 'drink your bleach' Trump? As opposed to being a fan of corrupt Joe "what day is it" Biden dya mean 😂

As opposed to being a fan of corrupt Joe "what day is it" Biden dya mean 😂 Thought so It seems to me that 'they're all as bad as each other' is more often than not used in defence of right wing politicians. You would think - if it was a genuinely held view - that such folk would either choose not to offer their support to anyone or - if they did - vote completely at random. Is it therefore a case that its easier to trot out banalities than to try and offer a credible defence to what are probably some rather unpleasant beliefs?

Nope. The majority of people who say that are Tory supporters who are pissed off at how shit their lot have been and need to drag all politicians down to the same level to make themselves feel better. If you say so sorry but no If Labour are shit the Tories are the worst case of diarrhoea following 20 pints of dodgy Guinness they are most definitely not 'all the same' I'd say the same but in reverse. Imagine have a woke clown like Corbyn in charge, and starmer wouldn't be much better. I rest my case.

It's just a daft platitude to make the issuer feel a bit better. As you say, the reality is quite the opposite, otherwise they'd happily vote Labour, Green or LD safe in the knowledge that it'd make no difference!

I get that. But how he expressed it is appalling. This is someone who is supposed to be a professional politician seeking the highest office in the land and he uses the words he uses in Tunbridge fucking Wells. It’s a Ratner moment of mind numbing stupidity. Oh I agree appalling delivery of what is basically a salient point For decades labour governments have skewed spending to suit its electoral support Leaving the alleged “Tory” shires with unfair funding formulas It would be if it wasn't for the fact that the Tories have been in power for 30 of the last 43 years and all of the last twelve, yet here's Rishi claiming that only now, since he's been chancellor, has anyone bothered to undo all the unfair deprivation-tackling that's been going on, to the detriment of poor old Royal Tunbridge Wells. I'd be interested to know just how much funding goes to tackle rural poverty, but given that most of the shires vote Tory, if they're not seeing the benefit of doing so, you have to ask, once again, why the fuck do they bother?

more bullshit from RS, admittedly in a harmless way, but still a lying, slimy piece of work, saying anything to look good. Interesting that other noted Professors at Harvard hardly remember him either. "When he delivered a prestigious business school lecture in London last year, Sunak, now 42 and also a University of Oxford alumnus, cited one of his “inspiring” Stanford professors, the Nobel prize-winning economist Paul Romer, and described the impact of Romer’s lecture on innovation. “I have no recollection of ever interacting with him,” Romer told the Guardian." www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/aug/05/rishi-sunak-stanford-business-school-few-remember

He's not my choice for PM but it seems your criticism is in classes of 400 it mentions in the article a lecturer he said was inspiring didn't remember him, odd criticism but at least you have left his wife out of it.

What about rural poverty Where millions and millions are spent in cites on public transport internet etc Whilst vast tracts of the countryside struggle to have a bus a week and mobile phone signals are often non existent Why should someone living in east anglia have over three thousand pounds less spent than London So the people that live in the cities should subsidise those that choose to live in the middle of nowhere? Just out of interest, why?

When the next PM ducks out of an Interview with Andrew Neil and then takes a roasting from Kay Fucking Burley which forces your ERG Handlers to pronounce that your not "Slick" a euphemism for stupid it gives you a warm feeling that The Country is in safe hands. Dogs etc
