A point well made by the audience member Andy Hawkins about trying to regenerate Stoke It’s ok, we’re getting a £56m levelling up fund and Kidsgrove is getting a new leisure centre. It’s all good……

Lisa should have won the leadership imo shame she didn't. We could have built on non metropolitan plan, she may have the odd flaw but her heart is in the provinces.

A great list from a man who knows nothing about each item on the list. Or where any of the places are… But hey, it’s what we asked for. Where was this money when they first got in? Andy in the audience has nailed him there.

Quite an impressive audience to be fair…… They've said it how it is with no party politics in the argument. Just a pure love of Stoke and proud of where they live. Just been fucked over for years.

The local MP of what ever party has a fucking obligation to turn up to programs like this in your constituency. If the mp was in opposition you bet he would be there

Do they usually have an SNP rep on panels south of the border? Thought that was a little odd, what do they have to do with Stoke?

It's a disgrace none of the blue MPs turned up to face their public. Some no mark from Croydon was always going to get a spanking, and rightly so. No doubt he's gone home and will never mention Stoke again. Yet he thought it was okay to read from a list a bunch of stuff his party has kindly done. Then to mention HS2 in a County where all it will provide is a scar through some of our most beautiful Staffordshire rural landscape and yet never stop here. The arrogance of these people.

Jacks a local lad, he’d at least have half a clue where kidsgrove is, why didn’t he jump in to shout about the new leisure centre???

I thought the SNP bloke spoke fairly well actually, and I don’t usually have a lot of time for the SNP. And I would join in with all the praise about the audience, I felt they conducted themselves very very well and were a credit to the city.

His surgery today at 4 30pm at the Moorland Inn should be fun assuming he doesn't bottle that too. I might pop up if I have time.

She is the future, not more of the past! Lisa is a fantastic, passionate and decent MP but I said this at the time of the Labour leadership campaign, the chink in her armour is that I think she appears vulnerable when one of her statements have been exposed and is then unable to talk her way out of it. If that happened in Parliament, Johnson would roast her alive.

All those cheering Nandy (and rightly) would still do well to remember why Stoke has no Labour MPs at the moment.

He's my MP up here and apart from a bit of shagging on the side a few years back, maybe, has been pretty well liked locally - he's been in since 2005 and had serious competition in 2010 too off Labour. Unfortunately one of few SNP MPs who actually had to graft for their seat and they are the worse for it.
