FIFA is soaked in corruption.
If the European countries and the two from South America just left and started again it would be the best thing for the future. If other countries want to stay sniffing for bent cash via FIFA that’s fine.

Bet loads criticising it watch it though Some will, some won't. Plenty of people criticise FIFA/UEFA/Premier League/FA/Stoke City for all manner of things, pretty much constantly but they remain customers because they love football. There are plenty of conflicted Newcastle United fans, especially from the LGBTQ+ community but the vast majority have retained their season tickets. Hypocrites. If you love football you’d stay clear of this corrupt pile of shit

Speak for yourself. I certainly don't find atrocities against other human beings acceptable or boring. However, as long as you're ok it doesn't matter 🤣 Absolutely 👍 People died rebuilding Wembley. Protest that as well Hilarious comparison.

If you love football you’d stay clear of this corrupt pile of shit I am generally critical of oil companies and the countries that produce oil but I put petrol on my car to get to work, is that hypocrisy? I'm not comparing this to the football necessarily, just trying to get an angle on what people mean by hypocrisy and where they draw the line with their own moral compass. I personally wouldn't call someone who criticises the decision to award Qatar the World Cup and then watches the competition on TV an hypocrite.

If other countries want to stay sniffing for bent cash via FIFA that’s fine. Given that Qatar got the World Cup under Blatter and Platini I don't understand why you would believe Europe leaving would solve the problem - unless you mean FIFA would be less corrupt without them.

No reference to the plight of women He couldn't say today'I feel women' 🤪😂 Mr Infantino said: "For what we Europeans have been doing around the world in the last 3,000 years we should be apologising for the next 3,000 years before starting to give moral lessons to people. "How many of these European or Western business companies who earn millions from Qatar, billions, how many of them have addressed migrant workers' rights with the authorities? "None of them, because if you change the legislation it means less profit. But we did, and FIFA generates much less than any of these companies from Qatar." He added: "Today I feel Qatari. Today I feel Arabic. Today I feel African. Today I feel gay. Today I feel disabled. Today I feel (like) a migrant worker."

FIFA president Infantino has this morning held a Peres conference where he gave a one hour monologue lecturing the worlds press and accusing them of hypocrisy in the reporting of and about Qatar’s human rights record. Is this the first sign of his, or even FIFA, starting to crack under pressure from the continued criticism they are experiencing? One lesson he should be aware of is don’t try to fight the press or media. As many celebrities and politicians have found out to their cost they, the press, will always have the last word. It will be interesting to see how this latest development evolves.
