Football is finished 🙄 I actually think this should be a red card. It was blatantly intentional, there was no attempt to get the ball and these are fouls that players think they can get away with a yellow. I would like to see these kind of fouls out of the game.

Each to their own mate, never a red card for me

I have to agree, this was a really poor tackle with no intention to play the ball and on the players ankle - could’ve have seriously injured him. It’s from behind, the Coventry player isn’t expecting it so can’t mitigate it and it’s just a poor, poor challenge. A player stopping a counter attack with a body check or a pull of the shirt is clearly a foul but I don’t think it has the same level of potential to cause an injury as this one did and for me that’s the difference.

The second time this season the ref hasn't played the MINIMUM (think it was Barnsley at home). Aren't these the basics of the fucking job? 90 91 92 93 94 95 96 97 98 There are 9 numbers there which means 9 minutes have passed 😃 The first ninety minutes are minutes 1 to 90, the 'added time' comprises minutes 91 to 99. Full time is when the 99th minute is over. Minute 90 is not part of added time.

On Saturday, Surrige was sent off for pushing his head into a player’s body, thus causing no real danger of injury, yet the Peterborough player deliberately pushed him into the hoarding, which could have caused serious injury. Which should have seen red? On Wednesday, Allen was sent off for two deliberate but innocuous fouls, neither of which were dangerous nor preventing a goal scoring opportunity. Yet two studs up tackles by Bristol players produced the grand total of one yellow card between them. Am I the only one who thinks there’s something wrong here?

That away kit is a red card in and of itself. Looks like a lobster threw up on it.

What Woods did is basically cheating, so I for one, welcome the red card. However, the real issue is the total ack of consistency from officials and an almost total disregard for player safety or common sense.
Surridge was stupid to retaliate but the P'boro player could have caused serious harm...how that differs from what Smith saw red for, and the Brizzle players didn't is beyond me
