Could personal terms have been a struggle maybe? They may have asked Benny to take a wage cut and he’s probably decided he’d rather just take another Championship loan for a year where we absorb the wage difference. Personal terms is a nonsense excuse That’s the first thing sorted and the fact he went through the medical procedure says they were already agreed otherwise the medical wouldn’t of happened Most teams can fart and chew gum at the same time. |

Surely they'd have known his price before he went for medicals etc? Yeah, it's baffling. Who knows what the real truth is, but it's hard to recall a transfer collapsing for non-medical reasons once the player has been given permission to fly to another country and actually have a medical. Hard to think of what insurmountable details could have arisen as they were dotting the 'i's and crossing the 't's. Payment schedule or something? Who knows? Hopefully another deal whether it be Watford or Saudi Arabia or wherever can quickly get done and this doesn't shaft us. Afobe or Brugge have an alternative and have changed their mind no doubt. Stoke have done it regularly after stringing someone along. It forces another reluctant party into action. |

What about a swap with Johs king? Should make sense for both Watford and Stoke.🤔 I think Josh king is a free agent so wouldn't be possible. I also think he was on a wage a lot higher than our bracket now. Thought king had a contract till 2023, but you might be right. Anyway, will there be so many takers for King willing to pay £15K+ per week?  |
