Ryan did indeed do that too often All the coaches have changed several times They have but we’ve also fallen back into slow ponderous play with each change a too. Even when promised energetic young boys. It’s still ingrained in my memory Nathan Jones determined to play a diamond in midfield which required fast, young and energetic fullbacks and we signed 33? Year old Stephen Ward for left back.

Could do with a few more clubs involved to push the fee up Yeah you’ve got to hope someone bigger comes in for him. Man Utd would be good.

Contract until 2025 (although Burnley now a Championship club so bargaining ability might be reduced somewhat) - sold to Burnley for around £12m or so
Would expect £25-30m as both Wolves and Leicester seem like they can afford that. Part of me thinks that they'll knock it down to £20m or so though.

realistically what do you see us getting from any deal? guessing it'll be 15-20% of the profit made after sell on so £2-4 million? though if its only 10% and he goes for a knockdown £20Million then thats around £800k

It’s quite comforting to know someone other Stoke is doing the negotiations.

Let's hope there's a hefty initial fee, or we'll be waiting to get our add-ons from Burnley's add-ons.

Substantial Subjective that would assume 25% as a minimum then Is that of any profit, if so how much have they paid so far? Just the initial £12m or have any add ons been triggered (e.g. Playing competitive international)? Or is it simply x% of whatever they get now?

knowing our luck Burnley will probably sell him for 12m with Gibbs-White going in the other direction on a free just so they can get round the sell on clause

I think they should get it as well! Depends if Newcastle come in. The price is £40M but you can pay £50M so you don’t think he’s too cheap.

I can't see us having managed to negotiate any more than 15% of any profit, because Burnley knew they were buying an asset and that was part of the appeal - and they were already spending( for them )big money.
If they manage to get £25m, 15% would give us about £2m, which isn't to be sneezed at in our state.
All guesswork though.

If it's only a percentage of the profit, that's bad news for us once again and very bad negotiating.
