I think it would be more āharmfulā to a 5 year old than a 5 month old though. i agree, it's far more disturbing to have a five year old at a bondage event, but having children of any age attend one doesn't sit right with me. no admittance under 18 needs to mean just that. this is a losing issue for us on the left and we need to try and distance ourselves from this kind of nonsense, imo. |

For the drag story time you can at least make arguments how is it any different to christmas panto and Christopher biggins playing the fairy godmother? I think thereās something insidious about it but itās more suspicion than quantifiable. Thereās no rationalising whatās going on in that thread though. I respect the attempt to try to frame it in logical terms but I think itās beyond that. Itās clearly a bunch of tapped people. The only thing I can imagine is that those mothers are all playing one big deranged game of virtue signalling chicken, and desperate to show how āinclusiveā they are and absolutely refusing to āblinkā. And meanwhile exposing their children to a bunch of fucking predators because nobody is willing to stand up and say āwtf are we doing!?ā. Itās beyond sick. No way the vast majority of LGB community see this and arenāt as disturbed as most of us. |
