Great win. Champions in both 50 over and 20 cricket. Never been done before. There is no one better at a run chase than Ben Stokes.

Even sweeter to have done it in Australia. Several of those players have won the WC at Lord's and at the MCG. I don't imagine it gets any better than that!

Even sweeter to have done it in Australia. In fairness Agnew said he was surprised most Aussies wished us well before the game which he'd never experienced at the MCG

The best team won and isn't it amazing that it's our England?!
The England cricket team continue to give me the biggest moments of sporting joy I experience, the emotion during the big moments/achievements are rarely matched elsewhere.
I love this game.

Now the test side seem to have got their arses in gear we’ll hopefully be celebrating regaining the Ashes in a few months too. Not that I’m greedy or anything.

It's even better when you consider that we were missing the likes of Bairstow, Malan, Wood, Archer and Topley. Most other teams would struggle with losing that many key players.

It's great to be world champions again.
Of the three big games this weekend, this was the one I really wanted us to win.
Shame about the women's rugby and the mens RL but this one matters a lot more.

Considering that we looked a bit of a mess earlier in the tournament, it is to the players great credit that they have come out on top in the end. Not sure I can any longer cope with the stress of watching England at my age. I had to go for a lie down afterwards. Especially pleased for Ben Stokes that he produced a terrific match winning performance after what happened in his last T20 final appearance. While I am really pleased to see England win, overall the weather and poor pitches haven't been conducive to great T20 cricket. I am glad to see Sam Curran win Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament, but much as I like him as a player, I can't help feeling that he shouldn't be taking 3-12 on a wicket prepared for a final. Interesting to see that the Player of the Tournament didn't make the ICC Team of the Tournament.
