I think I've seen enough of David Willey now, I'm not overly convinced by Salt either with the bat or behind the stumps...... EDIT Misses a stumping chance literally as I posted that. I think we know now that if the ball ain’t swinging from the off Willey gets a hammering. And, I wonder if a certain poster might want to consider again the value of a competent keeper.

Two world class batsmen but this is garbage bowling from England we're just putting into the slot for them to smash.........

I’ve never seen a game where a team has won without taking a wicket. Could I see one now?👀

Brilliant from Pakistan.
Pretty miserable effort from England.
Our bowling remains a concern, our fielding was a disappointment. Two early chances fluffed. And it proved costly.

Let’s not forget we’re way below full strength. We did well in the first game but consistency will be a problem with this 11. Particularly the bowling dept. Wood, Jordan and Topley are a level above the current crop. But yes Pakistan have an excellent top order. Must say I’ve been disappointed by their bowling in both games thus far

Anyone know much about Anuj Dal at Derbyshire? He's been superb with bat and ball this season (probably my highest points scorer in the Fantasy League) and I've just noticed he was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme and played local cricket in North Staffordshire as a youngster before moving to Nottingham....... Just for you mate

Has to be on the England radar. Hard to ignore. What does he bowl? And don’t say Dukes!😉

Another player to lookout for in the next couple of years is one of the Price brothers at Gloucestershire,Tom took 8-27 today against Warwickshire at Bristol and apparently the best bowling figures of the season in Div 1

And there’s a bit of a pile up in front of him. One to keep an eye on next year though maybe

The issue the ECB won’t face is there is neither space or need for two ultra short tournaments ie the Blast and the Hundred. What we need are three tournaments - the county championship, a 50 over one day tournament and a 20 over competition (I don’t care if that is 5 or 6 ball overs). That’s it. Job done.

Judging by what I’ve been reading today mate the Strauss plans will be voted against by the majority of counties

Here is the line up for the final. As you can see it is littered with global superstars… The daft thing was that there were a number of "global superstars" (including Rashid Khan) playing for those teams, up until the final. They left the country to go and play in the next T20 tournament, wherever that is/was, before the final was played. I think that just sums up what a pigs ear our cricket season is.

Malan could be on borrowed time at number 3, the stats and his world ranking suggest he's one of the best T20 players around but he doesn't influence anywhere near enough games and his strike rate in the first 20 balls of his innings is poor........

It will no doubt change another half a dozen times before the World Cup but I think my batting line up currently would be:
Buttler Hales Duckett Brook Stokes Moeen/Livingston
As for bowling God only knows!!
