What I don’t get with the penalties is that if a player is confident enough to take a free kick from 30 yards why not from 12 yards with only the keeper to beat? Step forward mr . Powell and Mr Vrancic

Best performance since relegation for me the front two remain a concern but that was a great performance from manager to subs and special mention to Allen and Thomson who were immense

Munched the 5-2 odds on Stoke beating WBA. But what's even better, is that there's another 35 games to punt on. My strategy is to back ourselves to snaffle another 25 wins (at least), in the hope and expectation, that we will return to the Premier League next year. If I am right, this could be turn out to be quite a profitable season.

Just getting over the emotions….
Thought it was gonna be another Barnsley game. Had some incredible games this season. Imagine where we would be had we won those two games we dominated.
But what ever happens this season, we are 10x better than we were when we come down.

What a great evening.
To have done anything other than win that would have been a travesty, much the better side in the second half.
Great to see us cope with then dominate one of the supposedly quality sides in the division.
We need to wrap Powell up in cotton wool during the week and stick a £50m release clause in his contract, so much better when he's in the side.

Very fair. Also gave credit to the ref who did have a good game. Ishmael got the analysis of the ref wrong. The ref did ok other than disallowing a perfectly fine goal and for playing over 6 mins of injury time when there was 3-4 at most. It was harsh but you can see why he disallowed it. The injury time was fine. There was a delay at the start if injury time which he duly added on. |

He only fucked up the most important part  It was Rooney-esque until the post got in the way 😁 Seriously though one on one with a keeper a toe poke has to be up there with the best option, toe pokes are hard to read and too quick to react too but it is a taboo thing in football for some reason |

Missed it last night working, just seen a replay of the game. What a contrast to the Fulham match! The number of chances we're creating is brilliant, if we can just improve our conversion rate a tad we're going to hand out some right hidings at some point

May is going to be a mentally draining month, the run in and all the twists and turns, always a team that comes in from the cold, thinking about whether you play at home in the 1st leg, will you get a ticket for Wembley it's just sickening to think about.
Thankfully we'll be promoted by April and won't have to worry about it.

Fantastic performance, the best I've seen from Stoke for a long, long while. Most pleasing was that it wasn't just playing well in bits but playing well throughout the game. A little bit of concern about Davies, he looked nervous and his kicking under a little bit of pressure was poor, as was his coming out of the box to sweep up, you can see the difference between him and Bursik (who has grown up with this as a key requirement), Davies is more old school.
It's nit picking really as he did the basics well but I feel Busik is more suited to how we play now.
Hats off to O'Neil for picking Chester for this one, I was a little concerned at the choice but he had a very good game and the defence was nicely balanced.
Long may it continue, just waiting for a firing Campbell to come back!
