its a small niggle given the result BUT we need to decide who's taking penalties for us and in the next 2 weeks they need to practice ONLY that for 8 hours every day and then 1 hour after training sessions for the rest of the season.

Valerian Ishmael seems like a decent and honest guy. Props to him for admitting several times, unprompted, during the interview that Stoke deserved to win. He also said we were the best team they have played so far! Very fair. Also gave credit to the ref who did have a good game. |

Excellent result tonight but once again our strike force we’re abysmal, with the exception of Powell of course. We’ve now got a 2 week break and surely at the end of that 2 week period, Campbell should be fit and ready for his return. Brown, for my money should be benched. Although he gives maximum effort, he certainly isn’t the answer to our goal scoring woes. A pairing of Campbell and Sima could be an exciting prospect to watch. I know nothing is guaranteed but it must be worth trying that combination.

I think they’ll be too strong for us tomorrow night, we saw what they did too Cardiff so we’ll have to be switched on. They’re backed by over 3000 in the away end so that’ll also give them a boost. Thanks for your insight 🤣 He'll have gone to bed in a rayt mood. Ha good |

The ref did ok other than disallowing a perfectly fine goal and for playing over 6 mins of injury time when there was 3-4 at most. |

Suddenly a cracking squad.
Not only is summer window 21 going to go down as our all time best window but a good few players who looked like failing have transformed.

Tommy Smith was so quick to react for the goal, stunning composure from Powell but Smith played his part, he has been great this season. Almost as good as a new signing imho. |

You know that the ‘fans’ who want O’Neill out will sadly (very very sadly) use it to criticise. It’s beyond sad. I’m not sure what o Neill can do about it really. I’m hoping Campbell coming back and maybe Sima will help and then once we start scoring more it breeds a bit of confidence The same among us know this |

Tuesday was probably the first time in a while I’ve watched a Stoke match without losing focus on the game, live or on telly.
Tonight was the first time I’ve been genuinely engrossed in what feels like forever.
Superb performance, a finisher away from an absolute hammering.
Thought the midfield were exceptional, wing backs superb and back three very assured.
Just a hint of a tingle being back.

Brave move to play Wilmot on the right but he combines better with Smith than with Tymon. Chester did not put a foot wrong. Can’t fault anyone for effort. Vrancic’s foul was very questionable but from behind it did look like he clipped him. I think the ref blew his whistle before the defender headed the ball. So play had to stop. No matter. WE WON and we played great.

The way to disrupt and create chances against us is to play the ball through the middle, quick incisive passing and get behind the lines. Lumping it long against us is not the way to do it. |
