Looking at these final group games there isn't much on them. The new format might be a bit livelier.
The shit are unbelievable. Knowing how much was hanging on this game and they've been toss. And Bayern Munich haven't played at 100%.

But they've just panned to the newly appointed Nottingham Forest coach and previous England U19 manager, Simon Rusk. He's been appointed as a specialist set piece coach.
So the question is, how much is he getting paid for that role?
Surely not much? He's purely a set piece coach. But equally it's probably quite an important role for a team like Forest. They've conceded the most from set pieces and I believe scored the least.
Odd, boring question suited for Dull Men's Club but can't figure out if he'd be on a shedload or, in Premier League terms, fuck all.

They've always been there even at the Vic, well dunno about tourists. I very much doubt more than a handful go to a Stoke game even now. My great grandad never missed a game until his health failed. Seats in the Boothen Stand for donkeys years. Most noise he ever made was opening his hip flask. Most of the old fellas around him were the same old quiet and a bit posh. Never really did get why he was posher than us. I must have been going now for close on 50 years though not to a lot of games until Durban promotion season, never been a noisy fan even as a child or teenager, young adult. Only difference is now all the vocal support is dispersed around in reality not even the entire of the boothen end were vocally loud. I think it's just people who are very vocal in their support seem to think it's what everyone or nearly everyone does and they just don't and never have. |
