I don’t get this. It says it’s stopping them watching the game but there’s clearly just players training in the background. It looks post-match or HT. The match was completed with empty stands after they were on the pitch but looks like they allowed people in the boxes to stay

Since Gary Neville and Paul Scholes bought And bankrolled Salford in to the league both their boyhood teams (or familys team in Neville’s case) have now dropped out the league.
Not saying this is down to Salford but surely them 2 must be thinking why didnt they offer some financial support to Bury/oldham instead
Salford had 500 at Oldham yesterday….supportwise it aint going to happen for them

The match was completed with empty stands after they were on the pitch but looks like they allowed people in the boxes to stay Reading other posts re this video it seems that this is shot from inside the corporate bar where fans are drinking and is quite a serious stadium violation to drink whilst watching the game so they attempted to cover up the windows as the game resumed after appearing that it wasn't going to finish. Is a bit of a daft rule but is a rule, no drinking is allowed at any stadium during the game and curtains have to be drawn where there is alcohol.

No drinking while watching the game. What kind of irresponsible rule is that? Some teams are only watchable if you're drinking.
Nothing against coming in totally plowed as long as you are perpendicular to the ground and can still throw beer & pyrotechnics though...

Seems with the potential of more trouble at Oldham they just covered up the hospitality windows rather than try and take their pints of mild and pork scratchings away

Shut up with that attention bollocks and grow up and accept that people just may have different opinions. Yes terrible. Writing off 200m worth of debt is running something badly. Allowing an employee who does a job that is short term in nature to dictate the running of the club is running the club badly. Their most important appointments in 5 years have been terrible. The club has been on a terminal decline for 7 years now and it doesn’t look like anything will change on that front soon. Their approach is lazy and they don’t learn from mistakes. On the plus side they’re rich.

I think people really struggle to decipher between Coates' the football people and Coates' the local business family. One is absolutely woeful and the other is wonderful. It can be both and I wish people would look further than a free bus ride and relatively cheap Season Tickets when they assess their tenure here. Carry on with their trajectory and the same people will be happy clapping a free bus ride to Forest Green Rovers and Accrington in the not too distant future.

I have nothing but admiration for bet365 and what’s it done for this city. Probably a bit dramatic but it’s essentially staved off potential mass unemployment for the area. The football club though? We are run terribly. It couldn’t be more chalk and cheese.

They are literally one in a million. I think we're in agreement over how they run the football club though, which is almost the polar opposite in terms of drive, vision and delivery.

This guy is fricking loaded from making a career of being a shit lower manager and getting paid off all the time. How he keeps getting employed is beyond me. 14 managerial positions and sacked from 13 of them 5 of those he's been sacked from in the last 3 years
