Bit if a dull draw all round Milwall v Palace should have some bite West Ham v Leeds could be a good game
Harrogate might fancy it at Luton

Good draw that. Quite a shit one for the Vale. 😂 Yes happy enough. And it is a shit draw for the Vale. Bound to lose and half a dozen away fans bothering to make the journey.

Will both games be the same day? Police won't allow it mate. There’s been at least 5/6 now. Can’t see why they wouldn’t with this? Only issue would be overcrowding trains from London maybe? But hardly likely?

Having said that I don't tend to look at their fixtures much. Coupled with the fact you've got 2 lots of fans travelling up from London together. Not happening. The Vile will be Friday night on the telly. Potential upset?

So that’ll probably be moved to Friday

Leyton Orient always conjure up images of those two hilariously late Steino goals to turn a 0-1 into a 2-1 and of Kitson’s ludicrous banger to finally break his duck for us.

11 Oct 1988. Leyton Orient at home in the League Cup (already won the away leg 2-1). Managed to lose the home leg 2-1 and get knocked out on penalties 😣. Who was there ? Less than 6000 attendance

Our draw is decent in terms of getting through. A bit shit for Orient though. Even if they bring a few thousand I doubt the gate will be much above 10k. Ah well, fuck em.
Vale’s draw is very meh but it could’ve been worse for them I suppose. Something like Millwall away for example. But it’s a super lame draw still. The only thing that might work in favour is that they’re playing a newly promoted premiership club who are super focused on survival. We lost at Hartlepool in 08/09 didn’t we?

First time we've played them at home since Stein scored those two late goals in a 2-1 win during the 92/93 promotion season. We did beat them in the League Cup away under Pulis in 2009 - that was Dave Kitson's fault. Everything is Dave Kitsons fault!

12 000 max at stoke 5000 max at Vale no reason why they shouldn’t both kick off at 3 on a Saturday.
