Not sure if they'll get anyone better? Yeah, I know Wagner wasn't popular at all, and a lot of their fans have been calling for it and expecting the axe would fall - but that seems very harsh from the outside. Their form from the autumn onwards was very good - I think they were unbeaten at home in their last 16 and they've got one point less than Leicester from November onwards. The Norwich squad wasn't anything special in this league. Most people were putting them down for mid-table, and play-offs would have been at the upper end of predictions. They've kidded themselves into thinking bouncing back instantly, playing great football, was par for them. Just shows how hard it is for a manager to win back the fans once they've made their mind up. There are so many decent-sized clubs in this division now - and there are always going to be about a dozen who think they've badly underachieved.

This is where a Board need to be strong and stick with common sense. The fans may not like the style of football or whatever, but results are what counts. No reason at all that Wagner couldn’t have made a few minor tweaks to that squad and had a proper go for promotion next season. He’ll be someone else’s gain… maybe ours if Schuey starts the season with a major wobble!

Now they're saying that Kompany is in the frame as well. All I can say is that Bayern must be finding it very hard to attract a good manager. Even managers who have been sacked are getting such large pay-offs that they can afford to pick and choose who they will manage. Potter, Ten Hag, Mourinho,Pochetino and more could all be available yet.

Can see Alex Neil at Brum. It's one of the better jobs he's likely to get anytime soon.

What are they putting in the water in Brum? Some of them think they’re in with a chance of getting Rosenior as well 😂.

If these other decent sized clubs think they've 'underachieved' is there a word to describe us? 😁

What are they putting in the water in Brum? Some of them think they’re in with a chance of getting Rosenior as well 😂. Why wouldn’t they? Championship manager sacked for underachieving. He’s hardly likely to get a better job than the one he’s been sacked from. Can’t understand why people have a hard on for Rosenior tbh.

He was crap for us - but there's probably enough on his CV to make that a pretty decent appointment for a big League 1 team.

I actually feel sorry for Ipswich fans. They are trying to enjoy the first time back in the big time for 20+ years and every time they pick up the paper their manager is linked away with a different job...
