Yes I noticed that mate and infact in some betting I saw he was favourite. QPR linked with Dyche strongly as well along with Manning from MK Dons

Those two lists are very slim pickings aren't they? We really need to stick with MON don't we?

Those two lists are very slim pickings aren't they? We really need to stick with MON don't we? Well, we're going to! But I think, if you look at the expanded lists, the likes of Farke, Dyche, Jokanovic, Bilic, Critchley, Robins, Carrick are as good a selection, depending on your taste, as you'll find in most years?

You're picking from Dyche and Robins from that list given the owners parameters. I like Dyche at this level, but you can't help to be worried at how bad it got at Burnley given a bloke has gone in there that failed at Tranmere and turned them around in his sleep. Robins is one with a good record at face value but dig deeper and he hasn't really done much outside of crisis Coventry. Shades of Cook at Wigan? You'd honestly swap MON for Carrick given our archaic structure?

That list of potential candidates for QPR and Blackbum just highlights why we won't be getting rid of MON nay time soon, why pay off one mid table championship manager just to employ another mid table championship manager? Gouranga.

How many Barnsley fans said that at the end of last season , they’re still a chance for them , a decent manager gets the best out of any squad , shame we have a shit boring negative one We’ve finished 16th, 15th and 14th in the last three years. The squads crap. I don’t care what Barnsley have done, they are just one side out of 24 who’s over performed. That’s a very damning verdict on everyone connected with the clubs performance over the past 3 years and the previous 2 are clearly as bad , makes the sleep walking description very apt

I thought Ben Mee was the caretaker manager? Who’s the bloke from Tranmere your on about? Mike Jackson. From a quick google he looks like he’s only caretaker and was promoted from the u-23 set up to do so. Not like they’ve gone out and signed him as manager. No different to when rooster and Delap too charge after Jones.

No different in terms of where he’s been promoted from but way different in the matter of points with 10 out of 12 so far. Also more wins than Lambert achieved in 3 and a half months in his tenure here🙄
