Alex Neil probably a disappointingly sensible appointment for Sunderland. I thought Keane was a cert?

Keane apparently was not willing to take orders from a 24 year old who knows little about football.

Bizarre state of affairs. What price a Pardew return?

That's a cracking appointment for Walsall in fairness, he did a great job at Newport with league performances and cup upsets. I'm surprised Cardiff never took a chance on him.

Looks like Mowbray and Warburton are out

Would imagine it would be a Coates Snr wet dream moment, with potentially Dyche, Warburton & Mowbray all being available, without any compensation being required this summer..if we had a vacancy, that is😉

I like Mowbray, speaks honestly and builds good, young football teams. Very open & honest interview.

I like Mowbray, speaks honestly and builds good, young football teams. Very open & honest interview. I don’t get the hate for him, to get Blackburn challenging for the playoffs on the budget he gets given is nothing to be scoffed at. I know at West Brom he tried to get his team to pass teams death, however his Blackburn teams seem a lot more effective then that. (Granted I haven’t seen much of them).

To be fair Blackburn have a very good squad and are in then position they should be, unlike us.

Absolutely, they are roughly where I’d expect them to be, seems the owners want more and I don’t blame them. Unlike ours who seems quite settled with mid table mediocrity

It'll be interesting to see who gets the Championship jobs this summer, and who's attractable for Blackburn and QPR-type clubs. Quite a few decent candidates out there now m.skybet.com/football/manager-specials/event/29482376Sean Dyche 5/1 Slavisa Jokanovic 5/1 Daniel Farke 6/1 Gareth Ainsworth 10/1 Daniel Stendel 12/1 Joey Barton 12/1 Chris Hughton 16/1 Gianfranco Zola 16/1 Jonathan Woodgate 16/1 Michael Laudrup 16/1 Mick McCarthy 16/1 Nigel Adkins 16/1 Nuno Esprito Santo 16/1 Rafael Benitez 16/1 Slaven Bilic 16/1 Kenny Jackett 20/1 Roy Keane 20/1 Fredrik Ljungberg 25/1 Lee Johnson 25/1 Michael Carrick 25/1 Shaun Derry 25/1 Simon Grayson 25/1 Sol Campbell 25/1 Tim Sherwood 25/1 Chris Powell 33/1 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 33/1 Robbie Fowler 33/1 Tony Pulis 33/1

Can see Gareth Ainsworth going to QPR depending on what happens with Wycombe in the play offs
