What did he say? I can imagine based on previous Man Utd players of the 90s views of Spurs. They really do think they're weak minded shitehawks.

He's not wrong there.
Glad he mentioned Lloris.
If we were still in the PL and were linked with him I wouldn't have wanted us to sign him. Way too many mistakes.

Most overrated keeper in the league and has been since he signed. People go on about his distribution and I wouldn’t put it much higher then butlands.

I like watching Roy but he clearly didn't watch Bale against West Ham because he was the best player on the pitch. Other than that, I agree with him.

As a side note, how shit are Burnley? Proper slow side too.
It's like watching us under Lambert, Rowett, Jones and O'Neill...

There’s only one direction they’re heading though, might not be this season - or even next - but it will happen in the not to distant future.....

I’ll never understand why people think Keane is some kind of god. He’s just a thug who deliberately ended another players career. He should have been locked up and never allowed near a football ground again! There are probably lots of ordinary supporters who could go on TV and rip into players and teams in the way he does.

It's a myth, utter bullshit. Show me any evidence to back up your claim. He effectively ended his career, yes he already had a bad right knee but Keane doing his left knee would have certainly accelerated his retirement.

It's a myth, utter bullshit. Show me any evidence to back up your claim. He effectively ended his career, yes he already had a bad right knee but Keane doing his left knee would have certainly accelerated his retirement. This is from Wikipedia: At the time of Keane's tackle, Håland's left knee was already giving him sufficient problems for him to have to play with strapping around it. After the tackle, Håland finished the match and played a midweek friendly for Norway coming off at half-time, and the next league game, coming off in the 68th minute. That summer, he underwent surgery on his left knee, but only managed a further four substitute appearances the following season, and finally retired in July 2003 after failing to recover full fitness. Håland was originally contracted with Manchester City until the end of the 2004–05 season, but in his contract it was stated that City could terminate the contract if medical conditions indicated that he couldn't play first-team football again, and decided to use this option. Following the release of Keane's autobiography in 2002, Håland and Manchester City stated that they were considering taking legal action against Keane. However, it emerged that Håland had stated on his personal website that he had been playing with the injury to his left knee a few months, that it did not receive a knock in the game to his left leg (Keane kicked his right leg), and that Keane did not cause his long term injury. Legal action was dropped in February 2003 after the club reviewed the medical advice. I'm no fan of Roy Keane, but he did not end Haaland's career. And let's not forget Haaland's part in this saga: On September 27, 1997, Keane's United travelled to Elland Road for a game with hated rivals Leeds. As the Irishman subsequently admitted himself, he was in no fit state to play, having been involved in a drunken row at Chester Street Hotel just two days previously. He started, though, and unsurprisingly struggled, both with his hangover and Haaland. "He was winding me up from the beginning of the game," Keane wrote in his 2002 autobiography. "Five minutes from time... I lunged forward at Haaland. I was trying to trip him rather than kick him. I knew it would probably mean a booking but, f*ck it, he'd done my head in." However, in lashing out at Haaland, Keane actually injured himself, snapping the cruciate ligament in his left leg. Neither player knew this at the time, but Haaland – along with Leeds team-mate David Wetherall – made an immediate beeline for Keane and accused him of faking injury as he lay prone on the turf. With United having already used all of their substitutes, Keane tried in vain to continue but he wouldn't play again that season.

His opinions on the game leave a lot to be desired. Having said that, these pundits doing the touchscreen shite like Redknapp and Carragher do my head in.
