It makes better viewing than a Jermaine Jenas balanced view. Sky could do a lot worse than getting some of the lads that they binned from soccer Saturday back as pundits. Soccer Saturday's new line up is diabolical, watching Clinton Morrison trying to pronounce kerfuffle yesterday was painful.

I think he's a shit pundit and that rant was exactly that. It's the kind of shit that we would say in the pub when a football debate gets heated, and you start talking utter shit to get your point across. I know I'm biased, but that rant was way over the top. I can't understand where it came from. Did he have a row with the missus this morning? Had he a had a few drinks before going on air? Fair enough, Spurs haven't been playing well over the last couple of months, and like most teams in this strange season, have had thier ups and downs; but they are still in with a shout at the finishing in the top 4 (Keane after today's win "no chance"). His remark that no Spurs player would get into the current top teams was ridiculous. What caught my attention after his rant, was not so much the embarrassing silence of his co pundits, but the rictus grin and chuckling of the Sky presenter (his name escapes me), too shit scared to contradict him.

It was ridiculous as he got carried away but he did correct himself when Kane and Son were mentioned. Keane has never been a fan of “cup-side” Spurs.

Tbh I thought they both made decentish points but Keane lost it when he said nobody from Spurs would get into any of the top four teams. Apart from Son and Kane, is he wrong? And tbf, I think he meant apart from Son and Kane as well.

Yeah, Kane and Son would... (I paraphrase) That tickled me. Liverpool would take any centre halves right now - tough choice, Ben Davies or Toby Alderweild etc.?

Roy Keane is the biggest cunt in football.
I can’t fucking stand him, we get it Roy, you’re dead hard, have a break for 30 seconds.

Well that’s still two players and do think redknapp has a point about Aldiweld he would certainly get into the Utd defence and probably Liverpool’s save for Van Dijk.

Keane came across as a bully, shouting louder than Redknapp like his own point was the only one that mattered. Maybe he's told by the people at Sky to play up that role.

You won't find any ordinary support who captained the most successful side in Premier League history though.. tbf. Tbf he walked out on his teammates at the World Cup, tbf he admitted himself he purposefully went onto the pitch to injure another professional, tbf he ripped into Clive Clarke whilst he was in hospital- one of his own players at the time..... tbf it doesn’t paint a pretty picture does it..... and I got a written warning from my work because of him ..... my own fault though .........tbf 😁👍 You got a written warning at your work because of how you reacted to sport?!

Keane looks and sounds like he’s just woken up under a bush in Sligo covered in his own vomit and piss
He’s a grade A bully and tosspot and our very own SJW called him out on it and Keane bottled it. Keane has never forgiven him and has little digs on tv whenever he can , such as accusing Jon of going on TV ‘crying about his family’ a couple of years ago when he opened up about mental illness
Still, if Roy had never lost face in the dressing room at Ipswich when Jon stood up to him, we’d have never signed him

I was working for the sponsor of Ipswich Town (Marcus evans)at the time and we got invited to Portman Road for a jolly up We had a meet and greet and I walked out of the room. The boss was ratte narked and gave me a written warning for it because I didn’t shake his hand....... didn’t really bother me though. The beer was crap as well in the hospitality but the shrimpy volovant things were nice.... weird what you remember 👍

Jesus. How can people get so serious about a wind up merchant. They are in the entertainment business and in the business of getting people to watch Sky.
Proof it works is a 2 page thread about it on a Stoke City forum.
People getting up in arms are the same who say it's a disgrace when players are fighting. Most of us love it and want to see it happen more often.
If you want dull as shit pundits watch MOTD.

Looks like Sky is just using this kind of stuff to drive up ratings. Using one cnut to benefit the larger cnut.

Yesterday's Sky football was far more entertaining. Kelly Dalgish, Dion Dublin and some bloke who won by being a lottery ticket winner. It was dreadful beyond belief. It's amazing that criteria , not talent employs you. I pity those who are far more qualified and articulate. At least Keane for all his faults played at a decent level and didn't need his fathers attributes or colour for employment.

I don’t care for Redknapp but Keane didn’t stick to his points. He just said anything to win the argument and then corrected himself??? He just blurted it out to make a point but had to backtrack.
None of spurs’ players would get in the top 4 clubs. Not even Kane and Son? Yeah. They would.
Reguilon isn’t a good player. Real Madrid let him go. That doesn’t make him a bad player. He’s a good player.
That’s the difference between Neville and Keane. He never backtracks and is always right. Keane is right in the main but he’s made a dick of himself there.
For what it’s worth, I think the best pundits are: -Neville -Carragher -Scott -Ashley Cole -Hargreaves
In that order.

They make sense and explain things / suggest improvements / comment on positions etc. Jamie Redknapp and Micah are great guys but they say things like “he won’t be happy with that. He really won’t be happy at all” when someone misses a sitter. Brilliant.

I’ll never understand why people think Keane is some kind of god. He’s just a thug who deliberately ended another players career. He should have been locked up and never allowed near a football ground again! There are probably lots of ordinary supporters who could go on TV and rip into players and teams in the way he does. Show us on the doll where it is that Roy Keane touched you.

Experienced broadcaster and TV presenter. Ex Villa player covering a Villa game. How many boxes does he have to tick before it's not all down to his colour? What a backward and bigoted attitude you have.
