He nearly single-handedly relegated the most expensive squad in Championship history... That’s us by the way. Single handedly? Behave. There are many people involved from the top to the team on the pitch. The starting 11 week in week out shoulder the majority of the responsibility for the performance good or bad. I am not defending him or the job that he did. As I said wrong man for the job. He isn't the manager anymore and I don't care whether he succeeds or fails at any other club. You can say what you like about the squad and players and the board. Michael O'Neill came in and had us achieving promotion form for most of his first year in charge. And as he's recently proved, he's no miracle worker. Anyway, 3 points and we don't have to think about Nathan Jones for a while again. |

I always liked his honesty, I much preferred those type of post match interviews than the ones where he'd bang on about mistakes and needing luck to just put the ball in the back of the net. It was a questionable strategy, especially when he'd just chucked 9m at Burnley to get Vokes.
