Had these in my Sights today but i cudnt see them land to find them. Almost like they were taking the mick because kept going where i was walking. Lots of Buzzards getting shot and poisoned now , along with other birds of prey Whats your point?

The Great Spotted is more common than the Lesser Spotted which is mainly found down south. There is even a Middle Spotted but that isnt found in UK. I also mentioned the Green one because ive never come across one of those and i like to.

There used to be green woodpeckers in the woods around lawton hall many years ago. Not sure you can even walk round there now since they turned it into houses or whatever they did. There's at least one around mow cop wood, I'd assume there's a pair but only seen the one on a few occasions. Mow wood's ideal for quite a few birds you've mentioned. A good pair of binoculars scanning along the woods edge where it meets the fields on a nice calm evening. You can see the top of the wood from the road where they all park up looking over cheshire.

Is it called Limekiln Wood or is it next to it? Will need to venture there for some wildlife filming

Out and about on Saturday I saw three red kites flying overhead. I wasn’t able to get a photo of them sadly but I did get to watch them for a good 5 minutes. They are elegant, beautiful birds.

Was working down Bournemouth yesterday and on the A34 past Oxford I was watching a pair rising on the thermals , the best place I’ve found where I’ve seen 30/40 at a time is Stokenchurch just off the M40 , I think that’s where they had a breeding program some years ago

with a name like yours he will class you has vermin I’ve shot many a Fox 🦊 in my time I have my views on what happens to animals that i dont agree with. I will keep those opinions to myself though. Getting to that time now where lots of Wildlife will be out and about getting ready for spring. As ive said my goals to get on film this spribg summer. Green Woodpecker a bird of prey owls and possibly deer.
