I hope, as a club, we grow a pair of bollocks and stand firm and say He's not for sale, if you want him then you have to make an offer that we CANNOT refuse.
We seem to be such pushover when it comes to transfers and surely clubs see that and exploit it.
£20 million starts the bidding out fuck off. Im not for 1 minute saying that he is worth that, YET... But we don't need to sell him, stump up the money or go away

Complete and utter pisstake. I’d actually rather he went to Arsenal than Burnley (can’t believe I’m writing that) if they are putting in stupid bids like that.

Jesus Christ. If this is true, we should block their number. Holy Fuck! I expected that £4.5m mentioned was the up front figure and the add-ons weren't getting a mention. Even then I was pissed off. But £5m in total? There's testing the waters and then there's downright disrespect! In the words of Will Mackenzie "When people ask me if I like football, I say yes, I do like football. But not Burnley. Burnley can fuck off."

I have grave concerns over this club though and i'm more than concerned that all of this is just pravda style ground work for a quick exit for a low fee.

Has there been any major transfer activity anywhere and who by ? When will one of the Premier League giants flex their muscles and show their hand for a tilt at the title or European glory ? While we are worrying about FFP there’s been a small insight into the world of a Premier League club similar in size to Stoke, who seem well run and a true community club who don’t seem to splash the cash, Brighton Hove Albion ! They have just released their accounts for season ending 2019/20 and have posted a mouth watering loss of £67million(fuck me) this was blamed on the second half of that season being effected by the Covid virus. If they are in this shape what state are other clubs in and doesn’t FFP apply to the Premier League ?

Frustration is we went into the window trying to get rid of yesterday's men and we could end up selling the future on the cheap.

Cheeky feckers for the insult of an opening offer.....and I would put a block on any Lancashire based phone numbers for the next week incoming!

I would refuse any dealings with Burnley, especially considering what they valued Vokes at if an out of shape waste of space like him is worth between 7.5 and 9 million Colins is worth way more

He came with a reputation of being proven in the Championship and chipping in with a dozen goals in the EPL. I think the fee was something more like £7M rising to £9 based on appearances wasn’t it? And he also had over 2 years running on his contract, so at the time it seemed like a good deal. No one could have predicted how awful he would be for us.

www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/stoke-slap-10m-price-tag-on-irish-u-21-international-nathan-collins-after-rejecting-45m-burnley-bid-40019427.htmlThey feel Collins is worth in excess of £10m and are in no rush to do business given that he's an important part of Michael O'Neill's side that is pushing for promotion.
However, Burnley's decision to make an offer has opened up the possibility that a mini-auction could develop, even though it would require a substantial raising of the stakes for Stoke to contemplate a deal in this window.
It's believed that half a dozen top flight clubs are tracking Collins
The player is happy at Stoke working under O'Neill and there is no desire to force a switch. One complication for Stoke is the EFL's strict Financial Fair Play rules
Burnley's lowball bid in their attempt to replace James Tarkowski may prompt another flurry of speculation but it would take a dramatic entry into the race to move Collins at this juncture.

All in all the more I read my detest for Scholes grows and Junior isn’t far behind him, yes the appalling offer for Collins is pathetic but you can’t blame Burnley whatsoever can you, see Pieters and Bardsley fees, combined sure it was 20 million, obviously joking and we had the audacity to pay them 9 million for that waste of space named Vokes, Christ it’s appalling business.
Then there’s the money we’ve paid to the likes of Spurs, Wolves, West Brom for absolute garbage. I can forgive a few mistakes but the list is appalling and the decision makers are still here, yes managers have paid the price but why no others.
