poor guy has no idea what’s going on. he’s looking around like “who’s talking? is that god??” I don't like him I don't like what he stands for I don't like his morals or world view but for his own health and safety he needs removing from office, the bloke obviously isn't well and those around him need to prioritise his mental and physical wellbeing. He’s still a million miles better than Trump. When he’s six feet under, he’ll still be a million miles better than Trump.

I'm a Trump fan boy mate so I'll have to disagree with you on that one 😄 On a serious note some one close to Biden really should get him checked out by a doctor of some sorts and I'm not saying that in a piss take way I just think for his own health he needs to take a step back. As much as I don't like the bloke I don't want to see him or anyone else suffer.

Both Biden and Trump are a shocking indictment of the state of American politics, one’s a fruit cake through age and cognitive decline the other is just a fruit cake.

Whether rich people should be able to secretly give bottomless amounts of money to politicians is a big dividing line between Trump and Biden. Biden wants transparency so that big donations aren't secret. It just got killed by the Republicans in the Senate.

Seems like that would make things more corrupt.

He's taking the piss out of himself, how long he's been in politics and worked with the woman he's talking to ie this is how old we both were when we started. Of course, if you are a bit weird and think along these lines generally, you would conclude that he's talking about underage stuff. Says more about the posters liking it if you ask me, ie easily led and not very bright! Also, the crowd is anything but "stunned into utter bewilderment". I hear them laughing along. Probably because they got the joke!

Attacks on Biden on here are all personal. None seem to relate to his actual job, which is of course the important thing. Age is irrelevant if you are good at your job. Trump had terrible policies and tried to overthrow the democratic will of the people. Biden is a million times better and his management of the US economy during globally difficult economic times seems to be going a great deal better than most over countries.

Don’t most Presidents take a battering at mid terms? But what specific policies has he got so wrong? We keep hearing about the “strength of the dollar”, so from an economic perspective things aren’t too bad compared with elsewhere. He seems to be focusing on reducing corruption (the Reps oppose getting rid of corruption!) which I think we can all support. He is pro choice which is of course a no brainer unless you are a religious fundamentalist.

Awww, have you dropped Trump? Well, fair enough, you got there in the end. I'm aware that his being a crook and a moron didn't bother you - was it inciting an attempted insurrection and being Putin's bedfellow that was just that teensy bit too far? What does DeSantis do for you that Trump no longer does?

Republican's would be mad to let him run again. While I disagree with super Ron's stance on abortion, his position on just about everything is bang on the money. His confronting of demands for sickening lockdowns, mask wearing and what was essentially child abuse, was outstanding. Florida during probably the biggest political event (and scandal) of our lifetime, was a beacon of light and led by example. He will utterly crucify Biden/Harris in a presidential run off and you just hope Republican American's don't fuck it up by re-electing Trump.

If you're now re-evaluating that support, in light of his attempt at insurrection and his close ties with Putin, then fair enough: As the great Donald Trump once said - "covid, covid, covid, covid, covid". Comparisons between Trump and Boris always make me laugh. One is an out and out Conservative right winger who leads and makes tough decisions. The other is a bumbling left of centre, lying dope who couldn't lead to save his life Unfortunate the latter is our PM and not the former. Get fucked Sleepy Joe! Goarnnn The Don!. Had it been a typical election Trump would have won comfortably. Had he not made the "inject yourself with disinfectant" comment, it would have been a landslide. He's also a staunch, outspoken Trump supporter which is great to see. Yeah the cancelling of Trump is one of the scandals of our lifetime I can't lie, I was pretty excited when Trump was first elected. Cue thevoid

Well, hopefully, we agree that I haven't misrepresented your views on Trump, Bianco. Don't worry, it didn't take that long as you are/were one of his biggest and most vocal supporters on this board!
As many people pointed out at the time his links to Putin were pretty deep. If, on the back of Putin's invasion of Ukraine, you're now distancing yourself somewhat from Trump, fair enough, nothing wrong with changing your mind. But I'd be careful. I'd issue the same warning about being too ecstatic about the elections in Sweden and Italy. You might be surprised and disappointed how much the far right is prepared to cosy up to fellow authoritarian regimes. (Not sure you can include Sweden in that, but the point still stands).

I think inciting violence and trying to overthrow a US election result was the best thing he did. A breath of fresh air compared with democracies in Western politics. What is needed in Western politics is more dictators, like in Russia, North Korea, Afghanistan and China.
