Agree. And disagree. If he retires without playing in any other top European league, he will regret it. I honestly don't think he'd give a shit. I'd love to know if anyone bar the English think this too. He should have moved on a couple of years ago.

5 year deal for a 34 year old?
Did Scholes broker the deal?

Test himself? He has nothing to prove. Agree. And disagree. If he retires without playing in any other top European league, he will regret it. That's why Ronaldo will go down in history as a better player for me, done it at a few clubs in a few leagues

Not a chance Here’s how I worked it out mate, pele played when there wasn’t an offside rule so we can write him off straight away, and also the level of talent has rose immeasurably since them players played, if pele was put into today’s football he’d be no where near the top, he wouldn’t even be in the debate, the standard has changed dramatically

Do we use that a measuring stick and see how Messi does at 41?

MLS??? Surely not... I could only really see it being ManC. Not sure he'll fancy the Prem mind you. Maybe PSG Just couldn't see the attraction of the French league. And with Grealish there and Kane possibly on the way, has that ship sailed? He has been linked with Beckham's team for a while I think? Seems unlikely, but you never know. The advertising revenue would be off the charts over there. If haggling over a deal for Kane seems too much of a ballache, Pep might see a 2-year deal for Messi as a more than palatable Plan B… as would City’s marketing team! Then try again for Kane next summer.

I'd no idea Pele was playing prior to 1863. Weirdly I'd seem to remember him in the 1070 world cup. Different pele I guess!?
