Or even better, do it by bleeding PM and spare the rest of us... I believe @deanossisterspants tried this method in fairness but voidy insisted on posting it publicly đ¤ˇââď¸ No need for PMs, if anything needs to be said it can be made public. Unlike the attention Momo was getting from whoever, anything I have to say can be done here as I've nothing to hide. I use messaging apps to contact people I know personally whereas this is a discussion forum, not a messaging service. If people don't want to read posts, they can simply block or scroll past. Or even better, Admin can crackdown on the duplicate account issue which would curtail all this nonsense as, let's be honest, it's only you that attracts such accusations. As I suggested a while back, maybe some kind of account verification involving ID scans? Up to them I suppose, I'm guessing they can't be arsed as it's not potentially costing them money, unlike online bookmakers. I know you- sorry, 'Deano', my bad đ - messaged me (some bizarre rant about having accounts coming out of his arse and not being able to track them) and for the above reasons I copied and pasted it onto the forum.

Already have done 'fella' and absolutely no articles are coming up to debunk the story (as yet). I've even had a quick look on the Beeb's regular, sport and MOTD Twitter pages. There's nothing from the left wing press regarding this, but I wouldn't expect there to be. You were quick to pull up stokiepmrc to deny the story so it shouldn't be too much of a challenge to find a quick link? Even the Mail itself doesnât say the words pace and power have been banned: On describing a player as having 'pace and power', the guide added: 'Is there a danger of spreading a perception that black players' success is purely based on their athleticism and doesn't require hard work and intelligence? Do you need to spend more time thinking about how to explain the variety of reasons for a black player's success?'That doesnât sound much like a ban to me. More like trying to make people think about unconscious bias. It lists some words as banned sure, but not those two. The seminar appears to come out of this report www.bbc.com/sport/amp/football/53226508The link you posted is from June and covers the report made then, whereas the link below (the same one I posted further up) is from yesterday- covering the discussions that followed the June report (as you suggest): www.google.co.uk/amp/s/inews.co.uk/culture/nitty-gritty-cakewalk-sold-down-the-river-meaning-origin-bbc-racial-bias-guidelines-641026/ampNow the full section from the above article is as follows (without any key paragraphs left out, you tinker): 'Commentators have also been told to stop saying âpace and powerâ to describe black players â a racial stereotype heard in football commentary, in particular.' (I should use italics here but I can't be arsed đ) 'There is a tendency for black players to be celebrated for their physical attributes, while white players are praised for intelligence and technical ability.' 'A handout given to attendees at the racial bias session read: âIs there a danger of spreading a perception that black playersâ success is purely based on their athleticism and doesnât require hard work and intelligence? Do you need to spend more time thinking about how to explain the variety of reasons for a black playerâs success?â Now until anyone can provide us with something more recent than June to debunk the first paragraph (and so far this hasn't been forthcoming) then that's all we have to go on. If the Beeb announce in the next few days it's baloney, fair enough, so be it. But we've not heard anything to the contrary as yet. I'm fully aware that news these days has to be taken with a pinch of salt, but at the moment you're falling into the trap of dismissing it simply because it's from The Mail. Just because you don't like 'the messenger' doesn't necessarily make 'the message' untrue. Having said all that, the fact that we're even discussing this matter and that it seems remotely plausible (rather than being an obvious wind up) speaks volumes about the ridiculousness of the current cancel culture (as I said earlier). If someone's taken issue with 'cakewalk' (and I'll bet my bollocks to a barn dance these people are white not black) it's not too much of a jump to imagine the same people fannying about over other words. This could open up a whole can of worms- will rugby be next? Imagine the meetings that could be held over describing Samoan or Fijian player attributes 𤯠You talk a lot about people on this board getting wound up over trivialities that don't affect them, but do you not think that people spending hours making reports and talking about 'cakewalk' and 'nitty gritty' being offensive are guilty of the same, especially with all the shit that's happening in the world right now?

I'm not sure what's worse. Someone thinking that two people are some person they're not, or two people pretending they're the same person (A person which neither of them are) just so they can carry on this massive bore fest with the person who thinks they are both that person. It's fucking boring lads. It was boring ages ago, it's boring now, and it'll still be boring in the future. Move on & find some other hilarious way of having this back & forth. Actually the 'two people pretending to be one' theory is fucking terrifying. It's like Dead Ringers with Jeremy Irons, and not something I wanted to stumble upon in the small hours when I can't sleep. Imagine going to all that trouble, and planning it. What if they're twins? Fuck that đŹ That's definitely worse. Is there a shudder emoji?
