He's been back a while, hasn't he?
But doesn't seem like he's really made any impact at all. Maybe he doesn't want to be here?
Shame as he really looked promising last year alongside Sankoh

Disappointing - but they seem to have absolutely smashed virtually every team they've played. 4 seems par, but they hit Derby for 7. Even more impressive when you think none of the Man City under 18's are actually u18's. Their team is usually a mix of u16's and u17's with u18's largely making up their u23 team. Will be interesting to see how prolific their production line of youngsters is in the years ahead.

We only had 1/2 2nd years out in all fairness too so on that basis it was pretty even but they can add Delap and I'm sure Taylor Harwood-Bellis is still technically free to play in their u18s. We cannot do that As for Godfrinne, yeah he's been back a while but he's done fuck all. No idea what's going on tbh.

I like some of the descriptions in that article, but forget about comparing our lads to Neville and Gerrard, ffs!
Some decent details about Sparrow, but something's been left out: he's potentially developing as a deadball expert, and I'd say in this respect he's already above Whelan, Etherington, and Arnie, who were good on the dead ball, but rarely achieved anything with it. Nowhere near the level of Shaqiri, though.

Nowhere near the level of Shaqiri, though. We are crying out for a dead ball specialist. Thompson can deliver a decent corner but his free kicks from crossing positions are hit and miss and he's never anywhere near a shooting opportunity. For a squad the size of ours, the lack of dead ball takers is fucking embarrassing.

For a squad the size of ours, the lack of dead ball takers is fucking embarrassing. That's why I think that Sparrow, who's also a fine team player, might be the more likely academy prospect to establish himself. Taylor and Forrester are fine prospects at centrehalves, but we already have two young players in the team who might be there for a long time, unless some fool sells them. Good to have good back up players but it's going to be very difficult for Will and Connor to usurp Nathan and Harry. A box-to-box midfielder who might score 10-15 goals a season from free kicks and penalties plus a few in open play is exactly what we need.

They were streaming this one initially when it was orginally scheduled. Can only presume they're not now?
